You watch all these films that I've never even heard of Colonel. I saw the advertisement for this new ABC show on my iPad while using my APP Resurrection (2014� ) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2647586/So I GOOG it to read the reviews and the reviews are not very good on it and they also said it's another Hollywood COPYCAT of a much better French version: Les Revenants http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2521668/I just found the entire first season of the French version on torrent in 720p. It's like that show Bron/Broen (The Bridge). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1733785/I came across Season 1 by accident online and downloaded it and watch it. Awesome show! Then Season 2 was broadcast on Scandinavian TV and I found all episodes on the net each week after it was broadcast. Another awesome season. Looking forward to season 3, maybe around September 2015. Hollywood decided once again to remake it for American TV and their version turned out to be crap. Why does every great foreign film or TV series that Hollywood decides to remake turns out to be junk?

Why does every great foreign film or TV series that Hollywood decides to remake turns out to be junk?
"The Office" has been very successful in the US and "House of Cards" has gotten some rave reviews.

Another example I can think of is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo remake ruined the big revelation ending by changing it.
The big revelation ending in the original Swedish version was powerful and moving.
The one in the American remake was BLAH and ZZZZ!!

Couldn't agree more ColJames. Anyone who wishes to watch that film should watch the Swedish version.
I made the mistake of watching the re-make first (didn't know it was a re-make at the time) and when I found out about and watched the original the 2 don't compare.
If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a heart warming story about a shark that spits out so many people that they have to open a beach.

Often times in film making, lightning does NOT strike twice. I saw it too. just more of the same, but without developing any real tension in the plot. Eva green was nice to look at though.

Has anyone seen this latest Liam Neeson action film "Non-Stop"?
I just saw it today and thought it was decent with a yet another solid performance by Liam. As far as airliner thrillers to, this one is up there IMHO.

At the World's End.
A fun romp in the vein of From Dusk Till Dawn...the film starts out as one type of film and then FLIP it becomes another type of film entirely.
Pegg and Frost do a bang-up job as usual. Not to the same level as Shaun and Hot Fuzz, but a decent not distant 3rd place.

I am on Episode 5 of Les Revenants, the French TV Series the new ABC show Resurrection copycat from. WOW! Every episode so far had me on the edge of my seat and there are new thrilling and terrible things slowly revealed in each passing episode. I haven't seen the ABC remake but I am sure it will suck and be devoid of any tension and suspense and mystery like its French counterpart.

Every episode so far had me on the edge of my seat and there are new thrilling and terrible things slowly revealed in each passing episode.
I haven't seen the ABC remake but I am sure it will suck and be devoid of any tension and suspense and mystery like its French counterpart.
Actualy, Resurrection isn't a remake of Les Revenants. Or that's what the producer's are claiming. There's another show in production that's supposed to be a remake of that, called "They Came Back". Then, there's "Babylon Fields" and "In The Flesh". But both of those are more zombie movies where the zombies aren't that bad. Eh.
