J/K M8, always enjoy your selections.

Wow, that's quite an instrument he's playing. I don't think
you'd call it a guitar - it's like a guitar sized/shaped mandolin -
four doubled strings. And I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't
tuned as a mandolin as well. I wonder what it is properly called.

The swirling phased guitar intro works so well on this, and of
course the violin as rock solo instrument...

(if the cameras failing to film the lead guitar work at all
doesn't drive you into a rage...)

I was given a guitar when I was a lad and my biggest regret is that I never stuck at it.I had an idea the other day that I needed a new hobby and thought about it again,but with my big hands and arthritic joints I think the dream is over.

To finish my violin-lead rock sequence. I should
have put all three in one post, but it took a while
to remember them all:


This video has 3 cuts in it, which run together, of which
I only wanted to post the first, but all the versions of
this one by itself on youtube were either from tape or
vinyl, and or poor quality. Anyway, you can stop listening,
if you want, at the 4:10 mark, where the first cut slows
to a halt with one key hovering on the B3.
