GRAD EX reloaded fine over the night. Whatever caused the Pause if no longer happening.
This mission has about one more set of edits and then maybe it's finished.

we played over 3 hours, well i had over 195 minutes in one session, according to tracking app. And there were guys already flying when I joined, so it's safe to say 1.2.7 is prolly the most MP stable build for DCSW an evening well spent.

Firehouse is transitioning over to open beta for the weekend. It is EASY! Anyone want to test drive the new patch- here are some instructions. I've already done it on the server side. The Autoupdate.cfg of the two version is different: - Release:
"WARNING": "DO NOT EDIT this file. You may break your install!",
"version": "1.2.7.23097.351",
"arch": "x86_64",
"lang": "EN",
"modules": [ - Openbeta:
"WARNING": "DO NOT EDIT this file. You may break your install!",
"branch": "openbeta",
"version": "1.2.7.23803.355",
"arch": "x86_64",
"lang": "EN",
"modules": [
By adding "branch": "openbeta", and running a Repair you can transform your install from Release to Openbeta and viceversa (by erasing)

Played a little with the P-51D on the Firehouse (It's a beta, eh?). Didn't really check out any of the reported updates, but I noted that my framerates were awful. I don't know if that's because of the update or because of the stressing map, but every time I touched down back at base in the P-51D frame rates would drop to single digits.

P-51D has actually always had a lower FPS for me for some reason.

Me too. P-51 is lower. Mi8 lower yet. So...
I'm a late comer to the Hollo Pointe server. Tried it today initially by myself until Pipe joined in. The mission had just started and I spent a VERY enjoyable 45 minutes playing wild weasle at treetop over the hills and managed to take out most of the SA-6 site near the Ammo Dump. I came back to Kubleti exhausted but was saddened to hear the "The aircraft you shot down was full of civilians" (or something like that). At least Falcon says "Welcome Back!" I don't know what it was talking about. I didn't hit anything but launchers and trackers. I didn't even hit the Mi8 parked near the dump. Other that that it was intense and fun. Thanks Beech, WC and Hollo Point, (whomever) it was nicely done.

On a side note... Granted it's an E version but she liked the photo and I think she's going to take this one all the way. Sweetest is off to a good start!

Dueling with that SA-6 site has been the most fun I've had in DCS. If you can stay out there around 14 miles and keep getting it to fire missiles at you you can eventually deplete the launchers. Definitely satisfying once you can get close enough to put a Maverick on it...

BeachAV8R Yes -- quite fun in GRAD EX -- The SA-6 radar and one of four launchers behind it -- The missile just fired and you can see it in the TGP, the bright dot inside the cloud at 10 o'clock -- There it is in the distance at 15 miles, the little white plume -- Another one joins the first -- Don't get too close! I see now why you didn't add the 25T to GRAD EX. The encounter with the SA-6 would unfold as such:
"Oh! I see there is an SA-6 off in the distance." *Fires ARM from over 50 miles away* ...some seconds *SA-6 Explodes* "Problem solved! That was easy."

Eh guys and good morning!
Some time ago I was running a firehouse TS3 server and I've decided to give that a shot again. I have taken Wesley's good advice and attached the TS3 through a domain service so that it is a name instead of a number. I'm hoping that this will help to tie in folks from the "outside world" with our cozy little community that is DCS.
I am going to put the info on the front page however for the record the server name / password is as follows:
Server name: firehouse.no-ip.biz Password: fire safety
The current server password will be available there.
On another note- I am running an "open" test of the killbox now that MIST 3.3 is out. It has fixed some of the issues we had with the random functions... teleport, group to random zone etc.
Come on in... firehouse password right now is 11- though in the TS3 server it is still saying fire safety

Yeah, right!? When I was in middle school I saw that exact same image scratched into my wooden school desk. Funny, DCS didn't even exist back then. Oh well, I'll figure it out someday...

Tonight at 2200 GMT I should be able to join. I'm strictly Warthog qualified but I'm training in the Huey, Su 25 and just started on the Hip. Any chance someone will be there? EDIT: for the record I also own CA... I wouldn't mind have some fun...

GRAD-EX mission is cool, lots of good practice and enough there to keep one busy for some time. I did notice that the radios become ineffective upon returning to base. Tried to come in for repair and radio would not work as it did upon start up. Any ideas/advice?

TheBix: I've had that happen to me in the KA-50. I usually resort to opening up the canopy and shutting down the engines. That bypasses the radio and behaves as if you were shouting repair/rearm to the ground crew next to your aircraft. Eno: I successfully joined the TS3 server and the firehouse last night, and everything seems to be working well. The firehouse password did indeed show up in TS3 when I joined. As is typical, a landing gear was damaged and would not extend. This made the landing less than ideal.
