Eh bix welcome to the "club."
They aren't always hidden- that mission you were in is much easier with more aircraft.
Skate- I have it narrowed down to either qpi overvolting on auto or the graphics card but its been a looooooong road. Comp would just randomly shut down while installing windows on an SSd... Natural choice was new SSd- hadn't had it set up on ahci mode so trim functions weren't working. Made sense to me so I wrote off the drive ( from my original gaming rig before upgrading). Switched it out, still had the problem... Graphics card... Still had the issue...(crashing while checking graphics in installation). Bad windows disk? Tried a different one. Still had the issue but realized I had a few others as well. When reformatting the drives after every install I wasn't formatting the system file partition so I had 4-5 different windows 7 selections when I was going through the rebooting process... it would just select the one on the top... which foiled a couple of my problem solving efforts and caused me to go retry things.
Then I installed windows on IDE and then realized I had to switch it to ahci... tried to go into the registry modification to do so but it wouldn't get past "windows encountered an error and installation was not successful. So went down that route... reinstalled in ahci and it kept crashing. Tried different SATA plugs (the marvel SATA3 controller- though not an official standard back then but the rough equivalent) was notoriously poor but I tried it anyway)... swapped connections a bunch of times... cables... same issue each time.
While hunting for clues online I came across a QPI overvolting thread that had very similar symptoms...
Qpi voltage set manually and it's been okay but I'm proceeding with caution!

Hey fella's, good to be joined up with you! Enjoying the missions so far, pretty tough I must say as targets are hidden well! Anyway, hope you all are feeling well after New Years Eve! --Bix Welcome aboard, TB! WC

A question regarding the radio menu - would it be possible to add an option to re-display the most recent mission information dialog? This way anyone joining late can get the latest info (or re-display if it they missed it) on how the mission is progressing. Time to fly!

It wouldn't be hard but as I understand it I would be limited to being able to post whether prary mission objective was completed or still ongoing, or if secondary objective is underway or already complete.
There are ways to script in unit counts per group etc but I'm not quite there yet.
I'm hoping to dabble in the mission editor on this set of nights. This last issue with the scripting engine issues and MIST turned me off of playing with it too much. Hoping we will see MIST 3.3 and 1.2.7 resolve these issues.

Anyone else occasionally having an issue with SU-33 not having a Pilot or Chair?

WC, had issues with Back to School - we took over Belsan only to have the entire client group suffer massive framerate loss seemingly due to the ground offensive. Unsure of the cause, paused the mission and looked around but no obvious signs of something wrong. Ended up just loading another mission. -- We also had clients still choosing to spawn at Belsan despite it being taken over.

Skate- never heard of that issue. Sweetest has finished the overall work involved in what I'm now calling the Pig Pen (the garage). She worked very hard on trying to get the maverick done right but admits it isn't perfect... but the painting is just incredible. A true inspiration to see how talented she is considering she has always painted landscapes. She wants to go in now and fill in the really small details- some panel lines (not all obviously)... as well as some of the other wear and tear features on the aircraft itself. Even she says it looks too "clean" in its current itteration. She has another nice couple of works involving sailing- which was another big step for her. Truly remarkable. I'm going to link to her site- she has loads of fun and creative custom items... and she paints in a very specialized medium which is mounted silk- Basically she applies "resist" to the silk and then the paint spreads across the silk within the borders of the resist. Really quite impressive. When you see what she is used to... it suddenly becomes clear exactly how far out of her comfort zone this A-10 mural was. http://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/TamlinSky?page=1

WC, server crash at time of this post. Road to Persa. Many clients. ShuRugal had just taken a hit from an OSA, otherwise we were all circling over the southern camp.

Hey Eno, Georgia Peach Mission 2 has been running for over 30 hours. I've spent a total of 2 hours flying around in the shark and cant find a single enemy. A few other people have come and gone, and nobody knows what to do. When you have a moment could you kindly restart or change the mission?

It reloads every 4 hours I think... but the mission won't initiate until an A-10 gets close. I will modify it slightly so if someone goes in with a Blackshark (a late addition), that the mission can move forward.
If I let everything run (without SLMOD I can't pause while empty) then the artillery will shell their target into oblivion which causes frames issues for people- even with big systems.
On another note I am going to leave the doors open until 1.2.7 gets out of beta... then it'll be locked with TS3 mandatory. I'll IM our regulars the password and it can be passed on teamspeak. It will be changed occasionally.

The artillery was going off I think. Part of the city near the FARP was destroyed. I assumed it was from the artillery. I was never able to find the source though.

Thanks xcom. I was looking at that but it's not quite what we need. Instead I could set a random flag value of 1-10 and roll the dice to load any one of 10 missions after a certain amount of time. I mean that's easy and available and doesn't switch a mission just because the room is empty.
I would like to run a 24 style mission wher it would run 1-1 over a few days but we need stability for that. Imagine running the same mission for three or four days In a fly in and just letting it run- you wouldn't need a dynamic campaign per say just a stable mission. We have all the tools- just need stability.

Well at the moment I'll only be able to Fly 1.2.7 for a few weeks. (Until I get time to go back through and re-assign every assignment again). I Opened Steam and let it download updates for other games last night, But Steam DCS was getting in the way of AMD/Raptr Tracking my 1.2.6/1.2.7 Gameplay. (Raptr only tracks the steam DCSW install, I opened and Edited the JSON Database and changed the steam detection rules so it detects the Standalone Beta, but I had to remove DCS from Steam so I can re-add DCSW using the edited Detection file) Well Steam decided to update the 1.2.6 install to 1.2.7 Beta During that time (forgot I opt'd into the open beta on steam too), Which Messed up my Control Assignments for 1.2.6 somehow (even though Steam didnt touch the /Saved Games/DCS Folder/ ?? ). Tried to Boot 1.2.6 with plans to join Hollopointe, and my assignments were all messed up, Axes were all conflicting etc. And when I checked my steam apps folder I had 2x 18 GB DCSW Installs (I had a backup of 1.2.6 in there too), So a Total of 36GB of Space I don't need to be using, as I play DCS StandAlone, So I told steam to delete local files, So I have to pretty much wipe my /Saved Games/DCS/ Folder and let my 1.2.6 Install re-build it, and then re-do all my assignments. However, AMD/Raptr now Tracks my DCS 1.2.7 Gameplay using Edited JSON Detection file, So I Can start entering to win free games from AMD off my DCS Gameplay alone

I think we had the problem with this mission a few weeks back?? I remember Arty hitting the airbase and After a few columns were wiped from the side of the mountains, there was nothing left to destroy, but Arty was still raining down on the base.

We also had clients still choosing to spawn at Belsan despite it being taken over. Hey, Wesley, Saw you guys were in HP last night on TS -- I had family stuff so couldn't join. But I was in Back To School earlier and also had frame rate issues as Red armor was battering the Blue ADA in Beslan City -- in fact, I made a note to take out some of the Blue units there (edit work is never done). Clients can spawn at Beslan but they are prolly going to get blasted on the tarmac; I don't know of a way to disable a Client slot later in a mission -- is that possible? Re your other post about Road To Persa... Until v127 is released, I think we are stuck with these problems. I'd be on v127 now except I'm waiting for when the saved controller profiles can be loaded. I haven't felt like going through all the custom button assignments just to fly in a session -- from the little I've messed with it I can't load a profile and am not sure if it will save any assignments between sessions; my time has been devoted to the editor. Skate- never heard of that issue. K, will save track next time it happens, noticed it the first time when I setup a mission with every module's Airframe placed on airbase and set to client, launched mission, chose SU-33 to get some nice screenshots of it, noticed no pilot, I think i took some screens and saved the trk. Noticed it again last night when i ran a quick mission with the SU-33, Started in Air with no Pilot or Seat. I though I saw a post about it on ED, but I guess not.Edit; Found it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1960885But if it's random cases of not loading the Pilot/Seat, then replaying the track wouldnt help.

Merry New Year, all!
Got my new SSD and GTX 770 (THANK YOU SANTA) installed and running with a new install of DCS 1.2.6. I've got all my modules installed except for Black Shark and FC3 (need to install Black Shark 1 and LOMAC first <sigh>) but so far, I've only set up the keys for the A-10C. Quite the process to get them it all set up right.
I'm not really noticing a significant performance difference with the SSD. Windows boots up awfully fast, but my games don't seem to load up THAT much faster. I didn't take any benchmarks before/after to do a real comparison, but I am surprised that the difference isn't over-the-top-wow-thats-faster. Maybe I screwed something up in the setup? I did verify that the games ARE installed to the SSD, and need to double check my other system settings (ACHI, check - 6Gb/s SATA port, check, etc.).
I am seeing triple the frame rates from my old GTX 470. And a whole lot of tearing without Adaptive Vsync on!
Anywho, is everybody flying 1.2.7? Guess I'll have to make that update this weekend.
Shoot to Kill. Play to Have Fun.
