TARS has come up a couple times and I think it's time to take a look into that a little more. I was reading up on TARS not to long ago. It seems like a very interesting and useful tool. Especially if different flights (even of the same aircraft) are split into separate com channels. I would presume the setup in mission would be VHF-FM = Air-Ground Command, UHF = Intra-Flight, VHF-AM = Inter-Flight? That was pretty bizzar Wesley... I like the way you handled the situation. It appeared red forces were showing off. Struting their capabilities and you put them in their place. I thought you handled them perfectly. We try to enjoy a nice flight - and they shoot SAMs at us! It's like sharing lego as kids, out in the field. When the other kid steals the bricks you need on purpose - it's okay to knock his tower over!

One more is coming out in December, so if you are interested then right about now you can start the first one and be ready for the final book in a few weeks! Hmm, a regular here can PM me to borrow one of these in the series -- if you have a kindle. I looked for the ISDN (??) number but couldn't find it. ^^^ Lots of fun dialog and a great read. Makes me want to talk like these guys do on missions, while I'm in TS -- like for the Pirates mission where we all talk like a pirate.

Ran Peach today and boy... I have my work cut out for me.
Looked like things were nice and busy on the server tonight... I was watching from a distance. I'm anxiously compiling logs and information for Grimes so that he and his associates can continue to polish things off.
Peach Phase 3 is coming along as well- but the more I think about it, the more I'm thinking that the longer, more diverse missions may be working against the general flow of the server.
What's the feeling- more missions that can be completed faster and leave the longer campaign style missions for the fly in?
Now that mission reloads work and the randomization scripts can help add diversity to similar mission templates, maybe that's the better way to go?

Eno, i noticed when I flew the A10-C it was not armed. Is the routine to load the aircraft with a rearm during the startup?

Some start fully armed, some start naked, really depends on the mission.
If you're unsure how to load and program the aircraft let us know!

^^^ sometimes the mission designer simply forgets to add weps  --- I need to eliminate some a/c from a mission - should I get rid of Su-25s or Su-25Ts? WC

Einstein and I tried TARS with DCS and it was ok at first, but then became unstable. Maybe better now, but when we used it I got a DCS not working and have not tried it since.

Yeah rocky- I went in to take it down then got hung up watching peach play out. Should have said something. I will have the server back up in about an hour.

Teamviewer would not connect this morning from my home computer, even after a reboot. TV gave a message that it could not connect to the TV server.
I was able to access Hollo Pointe from my iPhone about 30 minutes later, though.
