Disregard- missed your first post.

As wheel said- backup your existing saved games / dcs folder (call it dcs 1) and restart the game. You can then gradually start moving your custom settings files back over to the new folder. This is a pretty common problem.

This is a fresh install of the latest game. When I try to go into the "Controls" tab it just freezes, i have to oipen task manager(if the game will let me) The game completely locks my main monitor so I cant even alt-tab out. Not even hitting the windows key will make the damn screen go away.

Yes, fresh install of the game but not the Saved game folder under user. I had the same problem and I deleted keyboard, and joystick controls setting, restated game and folders where replace with new copies. Then in game I imported my saved controller key bindings for joystick only, left keyboard as is, and all was well.

Yes- delete the game and that folder is still there. This causes issues. Renaming it is the solution.

look, this is a FRESH install, I deleated EVERYTHING. Installed dcs and triy to enter the controls tab, it just chokes , I have to log off to get the game to go away.

Then do a repair and if that doesn't work do a reinstall.

ive done it 10 times, i am tired of these stupid ass so called patches.

Go into the windows event viewer and see what it says is locking you up.

There is also a chance your download was corrupt- I've seen that a few times over on the ED forums.

Did something for Huey Apocalypse -- tied all the IGLA units together instead of making 2-3 unit groups of a COMM and MANPADS. This time I made 10-unit groups with the first five units as COMM units and the 6-10 units as MANPADS. They are paired in 2 unit squads in different areas -- but umm maybe since all the COMM units are the first ones, they will um communicate hmm with each other. Hmm.

I put the smaller early warning radar in a small group with a Tunguska,,, see if that does anything. The radar is the first unit -- there's a discussion at DCS Forums about the early warning radars.

Fun night in the Huey Apocalypse. I was getting ready to fight off Crew's attack but my A10C got ruined by some bomb craters in the runway. I know that there was an A10C at some point sitting right on top of them - don't know who it was though. I can confirm he did have AIM-9s on the right wing, if that helps.


Crew ruined my A10C, as I tried to get in the air to fight back. Getting in the air to fight back was our only hope, and that was my last chance after I got setup again from the runway issue.


Crew decided to let a T55 ruin our day. (I think he was in control of it).

Something new has crept into the firehouse- probably the hollo pointe too:




Anyway guys- if you see something like this in there, please let me know. I can't speak for crew, but admins in the firehouse have my blessing to ban anyone using this kind of "hack."

You noted the other day that you were testing friendly kills.
Do you have your hands on a new version of SLMOD or were you testing the current one?

Figured it out, something with the latest patch is conflicting with my razer synapse software. It is disabling the left click while in the game utility. left click work untill i go into the controls tab, then it stops.

Glad to see you got it squared away... or at least know the problem.

What I just cant wrap my head around is it works in the setup GUI upto the point of clicking the controls tab, then no more left click. Why then and only then, if it was a abd driver or a true conflict it would be all the time.
