Offensive people are not cool - who ever is running a server at 98.170.224.129 ought to be banned no strike that - they can name their server anything they want to, but I want to have the capability to filter that server out, like Ignore, IMO.
I almost don't want to know... I've seen some pretty horrible names in the server as well that just go beyond being funny. I don't hesitate to ban them because it is an obvious reflection on a character I'm not interested in entertaining.
As for the other servers- I guess if you just go through your history tab you should be fine
One thing not done was for the Ka-50 direction finder -- ? What needs to be done here? Somebody mentioned that Eno's Firehouse had it right before the update. Can't find anything on it in DCS Forums. EinsteinEP - do you know about this one? The Playground had it right, I think.
Arr'be sailin' off with the Piratess for some grub, don't cha know. Best swab the decks and spill the bilge whilst I'm off t'boat o'ale keel-haul ya slime-lizards.

It's gonna be a bit before I finish Pirates - lots of edits left to do. MAYBE later tonight - sure would like to fly it -- been a Long John Silver time since...
AAAAaargggRRR Matey! It's gonna be a bit before I finish Pirates - lots of edits left to do. MAYBE later tonight - sure would like to fly it -- been a Long John Silver time since... Back in a bit, lads and lasses. WC
I can totally understand where the addiction to the mission building comes in. Now that I've finally figured out what and how flags apply and are even used... it's made a lot of the interface easier (though I'm still just dipping my toe into flags in general). Currently I'm working on a mission requiring some patience... and some tact.
Local well meaning government has decided to chop the heart out of a forming marriage between growing military corruption and organized crime. A couple flights of A-10s were in the region for a multinational exercise when an opportunity for decisive action appeared.
As Gordo suggested... teams of SF (inserted from the vicinity of ZugDIDI) are roaming around the countryside and though they will be an intel source for you they may (or may not) get into hot water.
Things are going to be going on around you... enemy forces... decoys... traps... Tanker support is available- JTAC will need to be quite stealthy in their infiltration of the area to assist. Pilots will need to landmark their orbit areas and make sure they don't stray too far "out of bounds." "Friendly" local forces are on your side... now... but this could change at any moment. Destroy the wrong target or open fire at the wrong troops... You better have your survival kit stocked up.
I'll have the server taken down a bit later so I can work on it. Nights (late nights) have been quiet lately so I use this opportunity to plug in some flags!

Who are your actors on your stage? Blue & Red? BLF & RDR? Yi v Yo?
I categorized all the units in the new Pirates to Red & Blue. The groups needed distinction for triggering recognition and after playing with the original coalition designations as well as the insurgent distinctions n some groups I decided to go with a straightforward Red v Blue.
-- Did learn where Insurgents come into play.
...meanwhile I am flying Pirates as write this - V E R Y stable on my Windows 8 Pro machine in two monitors.

I'm not 100% what everyone is going to be called- but basically it's based loosely on the real situation right now with Russian Military and ex KGB / GRU being kingpins in organized crime syndicates- even though Russia is friendly to the west in some respects... this is one of those unique moments where they admit that sometimes, they can use some help. There is little trust within the local regime and it is decided at the last minute that in order to ensure complete surprise on the criminal / military underworld that US forces will be utilized to locate and destroy major infrastructure in the process and distribution of weapons and drugs.
I do notice that our AOs are pretty close to the same- I've been comfortable with ZUGdidi lately and found a great section of terrain in which to conduct the hunt. Nice thing is in a few minutes of moving things around I can shuffle things up just enough to ensure continued playability.
Question...
If I activate a unit to go "check out" an area but then want to stand it down after a certain time... is there a way to get it to RTB with a "time since flag" condition without deactivating the group? If a group is deactivated, does it just start back at square one and in that event will it be able to be "reactivated" again?

Is the unit/group a vehicle or a/c?
If it is an a/c then you can put it into a circular or race track orbit and use a Stop Condition of Duration. If it is a vehicle then you can send it to a waypoint and put it on Advanced Waypoint Action - Hold - I have not tried this one - can try using Duration if there is that, or the Is User flag to get the vehicle going again (maybe with a Time Since Flag trigger to release it), where its final waypoint is the RTB point.
If a Group is Deactivated then it is gone forever. Deactivation will, I think, also cause the logic to see the Group as Dead so if you have Group Is Dead triggers on that Group then they will be activated, too, and you prolly won't want that; this is why I define Alive, Dead and Deactivated states in my flag scheme.
Eno suggested I come by and post this here as well. I've been working on a video the past week (It's been eating up most of my free time ) from some recordings I made while flying with you guys during the Fly-In event. Something I'd been curious about since about a year back I originally read about it. The video's gotten to a point now where I feel happy enough with it to publish, and I'd like to share it with you all first (It's set as an unlisted video for the moment).
Hope you like it, and would be great to get some feedback on it.
