Did a little feeling out on B4B and I like the potential. I was alone for a big part of it- davinci was in there a bit later but we didn't get to work together. I'm interested in seeing Shirley's cross... Maybe tonight? Ill feel it out.

Ah, I'd like to but Shirley's is just not ready - needs lots more trigger logic work - a few hours at least... It just doesn't feel right - may need to add more units, too, to up the activity.

Hollo Pointe was down when I got home - DCS Stopped Working message on Thunder. Because I want to see the Frame Rate impact with the artillery, I did put Thunder back up just now.

I'll be on-line checking it out.

HA! Thunder was running fine for 30 minutes and as a few others joined in, whilst I was in Red F7 View, my pings ratcheted up 1 unit by 1 unit each 30 seconds or so to about 380 from 160.

I spent another 40 minutes on the phone with Century Link customer service - always be nice to those folks - I used to be in customer support - and they and me agree that my next step is with Comcast.

I suspect that Comcast is throttling the connection and I will see about an upgraded account for the server on Comcast before complaining about their service - and I have the Century Link ticket number that Comcast can reference.

Eh Crew... I went in as the boys may have mentioned but my ping the first time was almost 400 and my ping the second time I dropped by was over 400... At that point I can join but it's going to lag everyone- including me. As I noticed on my map guys were warping big time.

I think your problem solving measures are right on par so I'll be patient... but not going to lie- I was pretty bummed out that I couldn't join in with you guys

Hey Crew, I am sorry. I thought you was kidding last night about not taking out "Your Artillary". I have gotten into the habbit of that being the first thing I target (besides the Strela and Shilka thats gaurding them) when I get in the mission.

Frames were shaky at times but managable not as extreme as at other times.... I didn't notice the pings but everyone was talking about them. Turkey said at one point I was at 400 something...

I just upgraded the Comcast connection to a 50 MB Down / 10 MB Up - the guy said they don't throttle the connections - it was a 15 MB Down - we'll see if this upgrade solves the ping issues.

Also, I realized that I made a rookie mistake with my end in that I had downloaded a few new missions but not opened them on the server and resaved them... this is known to cause issues. I've subsequently went in and done so- and also modified what I needed to in terms of tankers, predators, awacs and jtac.

Op bactria in particular... I made some adjustments to the JTAC that I hope return their function by changing the task to an enroute task... instead of "assign group" I have given an "engage group" order. Kept the targets the same- but the weapon request will now be auto.

This wasn't really a decision on my part but I was hesitant to put too much time in returning his settings because they need to be matched up with particular loads on particular aircraft. I'm not even sure if it'll work-

I'm also going to be editing the new highway slightly... going to try to engineer in those countdowns like what crew had. I wanted to give people a bit more time to run the gauntlet in reverse- like an hour or so instead of 30 minutes... but in the meantime I got rid of his countdown. I'll try to work something out.

Comcast said they were going to reboot the modem for the new 50 MB service - that is prolly what happened.

This Teamviewer is fantastic - it's on my iPhone 3Gs and this is the first time I have used it to control Hollo Pointe. I put up Back To School.

Please folks, let me know how the connection is today. It should be rockin' now. I'll be home later tonight - got a dinner date...

I don't have time to join but ping is a very agreeable 118 right now crew. Nice work!

I have odessy dawn up right now and will have OP BAC up later to test out the 1.2 adjustments. I'd also like to give B4B another shot now that I have the missions properly set up (and also adjusted tanker, predator, awacs, jtac).

I jumped into Hollo Pointe for about 30 minutes - pings held steady in the low 140s. Moved some Red and Blue units around with CA, really is a game changer - Ground Commander slots.

I see that Eno's Firehouse has 5 players in Operation Bactria!

Should be a fun weekend. Off to dinner, later.

That's me... that was at the end of the mission- you know... a couple minutes after you ate the green weiner! lol. Yes, it's true... fed it to you once I'd mustard my relish. (har har)

Great ping times on the new server crew- There were a few moments when screenshots were taken that there was some warping but only VERY briefly. For example- when Skate was taking shots, he would warp briefly...

I have a few screens to share as well! Not just from tonight- but overall.
