use the "modifier" function in your assignments tab within DCS. set a new modifier as "space"
If you're not wanting to hold the space bar, you can make it a "switch" in v1.2+ and that will allow you to latch the space bar while you key and unlatch by pressing space again. i cant set the modifier to space it wont let me ?

in what plane?
I've always just click on the airfield's icon on the F-10 map and it tells me the frequency.
should also be in the manual.

how do you access the list of airfields and their radio frequencies??? Yes as skate said more often than not most info you need for tankers and airfields can be found in f10. Click the icon- for tankers sometimes you need to click on the f2 view after clicking on the tanker to get tacan info- which you will be more familiar with later on. Also when talking to them make sure you are talking on your equivalent to mic switch forward command. To talk to ground crew in 1.22 you can leave your canopy up and just hit mic switch forward command and go through the menu for ground crew but on 1111 you need to set the rotary dial behind the throttle to INT (inter phone) to talk to them (regardless of frequency). Just don't forget to turn your interphone setting back to where it started (vhf I think).

ENO if your there we flew together you where asking about enemy location on map, thats new to me i got lost when you asked me.what do you call it,i see it on u tube how to do it.pete Eh Pete/ might have been talking about broadcasting your sensor point of interest to me and others on the same group Id. What that allows is for us to share targets- another way to do that is through tasking orders but crew knows more about that. To broadcast spi first you must have assigned one for yourself... You find a target and are unable to execute from a lack of weapons- you would call out to the flight if anyone is looking for task and have the required munitions onboard. You will have designated your target on tgp for example with your equivalent to tms up long command. Then, to broadcast spi use the equivalent dms left long command. I find that sometimes I need to cycle through my left mfcd menus to get back to tad so it shows "spi broadcast on" in the top right corner. On the tad of te other guys on your group id they will see a white box appear- or a Lego triangle. If you move your tad cursor on top of that and do your equivalent tms up short command that "hooks" the broadcasted spi and if you make it your own with tms up long command then you will be able to point your sensors at that location. That would be equivalent to china hat forward long command. Your tgp or mavs would then point at the spi. Remember mavs have just been told to look at that area- not lock onto the target. You'll still need to lock the Mav on target. I think that's what we were talking about.

make sure everyone is in the right group, or you wont receive one.

Let's assume 1.22 for now.....I followed Wag's tutorial to the letter and set up radio from cold start, contacted ATC, requested startup but no matter what I try I get no response from ATC. What am I missing? APU GEN, and GEN L/R have to be on for the Radios to work :p

in 1.1.1.1 i talk to the ground crew with canopy open without being in INT. Oh! Okay thought that just came in with 1.22 Blooze a couple common mistakes- make sure all radios are turned on- and grey rotary dial on outside set to both. Make sure frequency is set properly- hidden behind the throttle when it is pulled back- easy to miss. Like skate said... That power is on... That you're at a friendly / neutral base. Enemies arent within 2 km-though I think this may just affect ground crews? Right button for atc- right button for proper airfield...

in 1.1.1.1 they'll re-arm refuel you with engines running, in 1.2.x.xxxx they'll keep saying "unable" until RPM is Zero.

Left ALT and + brings up radio menu.
Right button as in the Correct Button.
Left ALT and +, F5 for ATC, then Select Airbase with Fx, then F3 for Start Up.
Make sure APU and L/R APU Gens are ON, Make sure Radios are both in T/R Mode (Center option on both Radio's knob) Make Sure Frequency is Correct.

That was nice in the v1111 this past w/e. What I really like about it over v1.2.2 - Radio Mouse - so much easier to use F10 Views - Allies Only - no Fog Of War in v1111, should be able to turn off FoG in v1.2 for Allies Only but it doesn't work --- What do you all want to run on Eno's Firehouse over the next week? Version choice - missions? Post up your suggestions and the Firehouse admins can switch things around. --- Last night I did a test mission for the Red AI landing at Tbilisi, and I saw no problems. For some reason in the v1.2 Thunder mission the Red AI go to Soganlug or Vaziani but not Tbilisi where they are spossed to land -- maybe I need to re-build the Red AI groups. WC

In v1111 Thunder Of Kojori last night these AF_94th wiseguys showed up and knocked down the bridges into Kutaisi Airbase. I told them that NATO had their tail numbers and they were going to get traffic tickets for blocking the commuters - but they just laughed and said, "Bombs away!" ^^^ That's one way to protect the Pat Site. You can hear the auto horns blaring from the Civ Traffic. Hmmm Civ Traffic - what a concept.Kobayashi Maru Also a good time in 104th_Moa's Fulda Gap. That mission leaves the TGPs at home (*for most pilots*) and as it turns out the A-10Cs cooperate more. Calling targets and doing runs in to draw fire - and others above and at ready to make the next move. WC

Each facility gets its own waypoint starting at 51 in the mission database on load. On the second page of waypoint data there is a link to FLD INFO which has runways, length, TACAN, ILS, APP, TWR, etc.

It's not the weather -
I'm having the same problem - was prepared to re-install DCS A-10C v1111 to see if that would fix it.
I need to look at the server..
Hmm, can't see it on Team View, either.
