Peace : A Christmas Carol ( The 1930's version with A. Slim as Scrooge) I believe this version is considered to be the best one by most cinemaphiles.

My parents let me stay up past midnight to watch the movie and I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Wheels

I saw the original "Oceans 11" on TCM today.
Seeing what Las Vegas looked like in 1959/1960 was a trip.

I saw the original "Oceans 11" on TCM today.
Seeing what Las Vegas looked like in 1959/1960 was a trip.
Wheels Apparently there's a new show coming soon starring Dennis Quaid that takes place in early 1960's Vegas.

Lincoln. Hard going but DDL is excellent. Indeed he was. DDL is one of the most absolutely gifted actors I've ever seen. Every film of his that I've seen I've always been deeply impressed.

i watched a few episodes of twilight zone last night. today was too busy with a brake hose on wife's truck, and updating books with some checks I got today. Then played Napoleon total war a while until son requested some time on steam. might just have to set him up with his own account 'cause we cannot both log onto mine at the same time.

He was superb in 'There Will Be Blood' and so was Paul Dano in the same film though Paul appear to have been relegated to a afterthought in his recent appearance in the 'Looper'. But of course 'Looper' is not a dramatic piece compared to 'There Will be Blood'

What I like about the original "Twilight Zone" is just how far ahead of the times it was. There was nothing else like it on tv in the early 60's and the acting for the most part was quite good!
