In S-125 is seems to be clear and simple ... But in Dvina or Volhov ...

Please observe, that these systems were developed one after the other.
Experience gained at one system, was used during the next design.

1, The Dvina has no indication how many missile is ready per channel. It shows the missiles under preparation, but than only the readiness is shown above the PUSK button. If you has 4 missiles ready, you do not know the in what channel you has two.

2, The Volhov has this ready missile per launcher indications.

3, The Neva is again more advanced, with this table, similar is used with the KRUG.

4, The Vega has several line of lamps, also indicating the type of the missile.

5, The S-300PS shows all missile launcher container per TEL (Transporter Erector Launcher vehicle), indicates the missile type inside of the container, and also summarize it per missile type.
thumbsup

1- How can we know how many launchers with missile present on it, are ready to the 30's preparation mode ?
(I think no way until we turn preparation missile knob to H -to prepare all missile present-, to see how many lights goes on).

The electrical plug, that connects the missile to the launcher (called OS10) is not connected until you switch the GOTOVIT from 0.
So the system does not know if there is a missile on the launcher.

- when missiles go to "hold cooling mode" after the 5 minutes of ready state -(after gyros's overheated)-
- how many times take this "hold cooling mode" ?

In reality it depends on ambient temperature.
In the sim, it is not limited.

- after this "hold cooling mode", the missile go to the 30's preparation mode automatically, ormust FCO use
preparation missile knob again, or there is other issue ?

yes its automatic.

- How to order crew to reload missile after launching ? ( or it's an automatic operation ?)

If GOTOVIT is N than crew will reload launchers until missile stock is depleted.

this question will be the most #@`~?%"# stupid question in all this forum !
when preparing last question I noticed that:
Why the first missile in the first launcher is in Blue color -(not as others similar in green color)- ?

I asked it, but nobody knows. It should be green.
Best bet is that one student once broke it, (this is a training system) and they replaced the window with blue plexi...

S-75M3; Linebacker II; "Habu" flight...
After launching the first missile (missile guidance -method UPR; APP - method UPR) and Habu starts jamming, the lamp of tracking distance lit off, but still distance boresight is moving like in I-87T/T... Somethimes, when switch 150-75 mode it stops, sometimes not... I think, this is the same problem like Dvina "active guidance".

A question - what is the proper way to use RPK switch in SA-75M/MK Dvina? yep

I will answer Piston79 Dvina also has a toggle switch RPK.

I saw he was active, but I do not know whether it has effect in the Dvina or not.

In this picture he is shown by an arrow ...

This is just part of the complete picture...
It looks like an american made stuff ! may be planned in the future SAM Sim ?

These are shelfs that can be pulled out from the rack. (using the black handles at their sides)...

Really like theses pics, thank's for sharing
I remember we said "Rackable blocks", we open it as an drawer, all blocks can slide ! (I think !)
will be happy if there is others like them, is it a personal made pics or found somewhere ?

No. Just keeps the moving of the range bore-sight speed steady.

Same with Volhov. Leave it at EKV.
If you want to frighten the enemy, you just flip it to ANT, and their RWR will light on "SAM Launch".

If you launch real missile, it will anyway internally override the switch setting.

At the Volhov with 75km and BR mode, it also internally override the switch setting.

Comparing maximum range...

S-125M Neva - 25km
S-300PT Biryusa - 50km
MIM-14B Nike Hercules - 180km

... certainly NOT A JOKE!
yep

When I flip it on Antena it doesn't happen anything...(SA-2M/MK)

No. Just keeps the moving of the range bore-sight speed steady.

Why on Dvina that doesn't happen?

Comparing maximum range...
Adding some extra fuel, can add extra range !
but, if we talk about efficiency, is it an real effective system ?
is it any combat situation for this system ? (or any historic real situation ?)

S-300PT Biryusa - 50km
I thought this system have between 90Km to 140Km range, not less !

Wasfa, that is beautiful, too bad some idiots don't study their facts and get scared with micro black holes and stragelets, whose possibility is about 1 in 50 million. Looking forward to these guys finding the Higgs Boson, if there is one.

Jazjar,
I think Finding Targets on the Sky, and sending guided missile's destroyer, have much more possibility to success !

Just to "illuminate" ho didn't know, and would ask : what is the "Higgs Boson" ?

Well done montieris !

Then the "Far secret far project" you are working on it, is that .. ! God bless you !
I don't know if you have enough time for this, but I would ask you !

you know, S-300 systems are the TOP of the TOP in Russian electronic technologies, just looking on
panels, makes any one like this face ! .eek2

Can you give us a short description of the panels in this systems, if you have of course !, (not so deeper, just shortly,
may be just their functions, or their names ), and of course, if we are really lucky, you can show us more preview of
beautiful montieris's Great work ! . thumbsup

montieris's keep on going . clapping , you are really . thumbsup
