I mean bug fixes from 923.1 Dvina! Shilka and the Patriot can safely wait is still not coming soon. In addition, up to now not even decided what will be Shilka or Patriot?

The question is "Bombing of 26 December" 120 B-52 should intercept Question How? Dvina be only one target to intercept the same as the 120 then? On the radar screen a lot of targets too much, I would say one to another. Unable to play! Could be easier to make!

Stay calm, Hpasp will decide when will do next release. He will decide what would be the next. If he wants, he will ask for our opinion, if he wants he won't ask for it! Meanwhile, study what is available at the moment. Because the exams are soon!!! The question is "Bombing of 26 December" 120 B-52 should interceptNobody sais you should kill all of them! You must bring down as more as you can! It could't be easier, that was the deal vietnamese PVO faced this night! It's not Counter Strike, it's SAM Simulator!!! PS. and with new fuse settings it would become even HARDER!

Hi Hpasp, Again Sverdlovsk.... When choose this scenario with "Volkhov", the missile loaded are 5Ya23, but the picture is of DSU. The performace - don't know wich one. Please, check and change if necessary.

To Hpasp and interested fellows: Bugs: - Mid-East Neva scenarios quad launchers are still displayed while double launchers (historically correct) are available. - Neva - K3 manual setting has no effect. The missiles beautifully pass the range boresight line and continue flying. - in the main menu, there is Libya, not Lybia (sometimes the darkest place is under the lantern ). Might-be-bug: - Why Neva missiles are immediately lost after auto-track in angle is lost, even for just a moment? (SDC only and tgt radial speed change, of course). Volkhov has no such feature and you can guide missiles without auto-track, if necessary. Request: - Please simulate 20 min. readiness time for Neva missiles. (realism, realism!) I once pushed "podgotovka" for all missiles available at the beginning of the scenario and at the same time I heard a loud NONONONONO. from my Neva ex-FCO friend I let observe my amateurish struggles. Questions: - Dvina, 120 km mode why target marks are often blinking at extreme ranges? - Volkhov / Dvina What is VYZOV button under missile preparation lights? Does it something to do with reload? - How is Volkhov / Dvina reloading implemented? Is reload time realistic? Ive heard somewhere that a well-trained crew could do it in less than 2 minutes.

It is the 20DSU, the label is misleading.

If my rather poor German allowed me to understand correctly, we are missing one display feature at Neva, resulting from stopped UV-10 vertical scanning when elevation is less than 1 deg and target elevation angle should be somehow followed. When MB light is on, screen should look a bit different - angle boresight should not be fixed but move left-right, either with target locked or not. Am I right? The same should be in AS, and then boresight should fix again in ASAP. Now we are going from search to ASAP directly, but maybe some little complicator ("more reality!") for future?

Volkhov has no such feature and you can guide missiles without auto-track, if necessary. This is the real Neva system behavior. It is related to the fact, that search and tracking are handled by different antennas, and coordinate systems. Request: - Please simulate 20 min. readiness time for Neva missiles. (reality, reality!) Once I prepared all missiles at the beginning of the scenario and at the same time I heard a loud NONONONONO. from my Neva ex-FCO friend I let observe my amateurish struggles. smile25min was considered long enough, not to simulate I will reconsider it. Questions: - Dvina, 120 km mode why target marks are often blinking at extreme ranges?Long range, weak transmitter. - Volkhov / Dvina What is VYZOV button under missile preparation lights? Does it something to do with reload? No, it is used to make a voice call to a subunit. Left of this button is the Telephone center switches, where you can select who to call. - How is Volkhov / Dvina reloading implemented? Is reload time realistic? Ive heard somewhere that a well-trained crew could do it in less than 2 minutes.Yes reload time is based on Hungarian army standard. Please don't get me wrong but waiting 20min by looking into the screen and have wait those 20 minutes until something can be done (like for example start findind, tracking or engaging targets) isn't it too much for most players to bear?? I would say that something like this would detract 99,999% of players and potential players since even if this sim is as realistic as possible in the end this is still a computer game (and therefore "compromises" must always be made). I ask that if this kind of feature are to be implemented that at least make it "optional" (selectable of not in the options menu). Again, please don't get me wrong...

Playability is also constantly considered, while trying to do it as realistic as possible.

In this case ithe 20min time for the gyroscopes to overheat seems to be a great feature and a realistic one was well

I tried it at Ustka. The only more specific thing is that the range wasn't locked and I wanted to make a simple check by letting the missile explode before the target, and it didn't. If you have a range lock - yes, the missile explodes. Volkhov / Dvina missiles always go off at range boresight when K3 is on, no matter on target or not. If my rather poor German allowed me to understand correctly, we are missing one display feature at Neva, resulting from stopped UV-10 vertical scanning when elevation is less than 1 deg and target elevation angle should be somehow followed. That is because they went into AS.

I do not agree, it's all the same simulator and training should be.
120 intercept not Really Sorry Dvina can intercept a target, rather than 10 at a time.
This is not a C-400.
Play is not really just a lot of goals does not clear in what I shoot and then destroy the missile 1 minute after turning on the Simulator.
This is not just a reality!
In training there is no 120 goals.
Counter Strike is also necessary to know how and not just say, besides I do not like it at all.

December 26 is not realistic to play just 1 minute kill.
Sorry this is not the C-400!
120 Goals even C-400 can not.
In training do not have 120 goals and only 5 goals high.
Good simulator can not say anything, but with training you can add more than 5 goals and 15 at least.

My question then is who wrote it?
One announcement,
There were a voting ongoing at several forums, about the possible SAMSIM development paths...
1, Add ZSU-23-4V1 Shilka, with the 1986 El Dorado Canyon, and some War of Attrition scenarios. 2, Add SA-75MK Dvina with realistic Vietnam and War of Attrition scenarios. 3, Add the NASA Digital Elevation Model, to have realistic ground clutter.

Training - Ashuluk and Ustka! Real battle, based on the real historic data, gathered and checked by Hpasp from many sources. On the 26.12 There were 120 B-52's - YES! NVA has SA-75 - YES! The american forces use jamming and "Shrikes" - YES! It is difficult - YES! If you can't manage, just stay away. Training, training, training.... Read, read, read! Then start fight on those scenarios. A question - do you know what is "burntrue range" (Projiga)?

I do not understand who is always wrong.
Errors are constantly question as I have never found it.
Simulator great I can not say anything, but with a December 26 may not play easy.
Sorry this is not the C-400.
120 B-52 missiles to destroy 10 is not real, I say at once.
Need training similar to December 26th!
