Can someone give me a steer as to how I might get this to work? I can see on the test page of the left-hand MFD that I can hit the No.10 button and change to green, but how do I engage the technique itself? is it available still?

I am not at my main computer right now and can't walk through TFR controls, but will say it is a fine feature that is well worth using and enjoying. For now, just look over those OSBs on your MFD page for TFR. They allow you to activate or suspend it, once turned on; adjust the altitude that it will fly you at; select the fine tuning of the following from "soft" to "hard" in the sense of the abruptness or speed with which this type of autopilot reacts to upcoming terrain. There may be one or more additional functions, but those are the ones I remember at the moment.

Experiment with the controls. And I would imagine that you will find extensive documentation in the Falcon manual.

Hi, also, there is no TFR available in the training missions because they are block52.
Set up a TE with a flight F-16C-40's and you can play with TFR.

I had got as far as finding that TFR button of the left-hand MFD, but apart from clicking on it and seeing it change colour to green, nothing else appeared to happen. I have read that section of the manual and also discovered that the key group Sh-Ctrl-A should get things underway. I'm off to try that shortly.

Thank you, Ramphor. Best answer I've had offered yet. I'll give that a go. Just shows one has to keep pickling away with these queries and, sure enough, there'll be a genius pops up somewhere!

Do you not see the TFR page on your left MFD, once you click on OSB listed as "TFR"? Once you do that, the page has a fairly complete listing of the abbreviations for all of the TFR functions. Without any guides at all those fucntions are pretty understandable, OSB 4 is a toggle for "OFF" and "ON". When you press it, you see over on the left panel above your Autopilot toggles the green "Active" light turn on. Over on the right side, OSB's 6-9 allow you to select what (radar) altitude above terrain you want to set. OSB 2 on top says "Soft" and toggles through Medium and Hard for, well, how rough a, er, ride you want. And OSB 18 on the left side of the page is your Standby button to toggle the TFR off temporarily while you take control of the stick - until you toggle it back on.

Did you try any of these yet? You can just go into the stock TE's and load for instance the SEAD Strike mission.
