Can someone check is there server named "kankkis dedicated server" up and running?

Nope, dont see it.


You can get used to everything, but icicle in the a**. It melts before you get used to it.

They should work now. Have you readed official forums about what you have to do?

yes opened those ports and so on, now i cannot even host in game server, when i try start the game it throws me at back to main menu. Tryed use external ip and without it.

Before batch i can made ingame server but others doesen't see the server, but now when i try host it throws me main menu frown

could you attach _net.log from <rof>/data/ folder?

in both cases loading screen appear few secs and then i kicked to start at mainmenu.

try to delete all *.msnbin files from multiplayer folder.
and delete net.cfg file
and post here your Start->Run->cmd->ipconfig output.

and about dedicate server behind router:
open sds file and set
ExternalIP=1
this should help to show your server in lobby.

I just thought I'd mention that I've tested the DServer and it works just fine behind a router assuming of course that the proper ports are open, and that the sds file is setup correctly.


Can you confirm that you have the following ports open for RoF:

28100 TCP
28000 TCP and UDP

Also, did you edit the new sds file that came with the patch? It features an entry in it for ExternalIP which must be set to 1.

gwer_ty thanks, ingame hosting working now, at least i can load a server, not time to wait and see if someone comes, i deleted those files and it helps.

TX-Ecodragon, what new .sds file?

where i add that ExternalIP=1, my old kankkisdedicated.sds, what i have used to testing dedicated servers?? top of the lines or where.

yes those ports are open.
