Noticed the guns dont seem to jam as often. Cant say the AI is any better; I didnt find it aggresive at all. My wingman contributed nothing to the fight using Fokker DVII against SE5. The SE5 did nothing to avoid my attacks. I also noticed in several planes including the DVII and Spad that they seem to "wallow" more now when trying to roll; very sluggish. Flight model set to normal, AI set to hard. I actually think I liked it better before the patch...

I found the patch to be great. Wasn't expecting such a change. At least not according to the readme.

I'm at a loss as to why some do not see the changes done to the AI. You must remember that the AI cannot fly the 3rd party planes well at all, due to the flight model changes.

The third party plane makers that I know of, are completely aware of this, and are working on the flight model changes, needed due to the game changes.

I fired up a test run right after patching and was greeted with a flight of 10 spads. Flying extremely well in formation. We ended up meeting maybe 10 - 15 enemy. The amount of planes in the air was really disorienting, what a great time!

Instead of the usual loafing around and leisurely picking of targets. This was an absolute free for all. Every one that I had time to notice were tailing someone. Both sides were well engaged.

Now I admit that I didn't go to outside view to see specificaly what each AI were doing, like I said, I was unexpectedly busy. Tons of praise to TK for the patch. Can't wait for the next one.

Hang in there pilots,,,, its getting there.

clipping problems when flying near the ground (also on low settings)
I get framerate slow downs - makes ground attack very difficult. Anyone else notice it? Also, the flak bursts cause slow down problems too - I never had a problem with any of the previous games.

I have the clipping problem too (I guess that's the light blue squares on the ground at the lower left and right of the wings, right?) \:\)

Is there supposed to be exhaust smoke coming out of the rear on the planes? Also, I noticed the f8 key switches to the wingman first and not myself(player plane) unlike before.

Re the over-the-top damage issue, is there an INI fix that would cure this until TK sorts it out? Can we increase the armour ratings for all aircraft, or reduce the bullet effectiveness? I've done some ini editing in SFP1 and WoE but am largely clueless! Just wondering if this is possible.
