Just returned to EAW after many years. Found out this'll run on my non 3D card travel laptop. I paid for the download from Old-Games and got the full version and a partial set up without a disk. I tried to install the 1.28 patch, but when I ran the exe, it needed the disk. I might need to mount it.
Anyhow, is the old Desert Air War still available? That was such a great mod and one of my favorite theaters.
