I'm running 1280x960x32 on a geforce mx400.64mb(direct X causes text to be distorted). Isn't the 960 part a little odd. I'm use to 1280x1024x32. If I change it in the config.ini, the game reverts to 800x600. That's my desktop resolution. Are they related and if so is there a way around it?

Actually it's the 1280x1024 that is the weird resolution. Every normal resolution is 3:4 ratio:
480/640=.75
600/800=.75
768/1024=.75
960/1280=.75
1200/1600=.75
1024/1280=.80
I don't know how/why this resolution has become so commonly used.
