We drop our time machine out of warp and find ourselves in the present, in Part Three:
Here is the F-15E Strike Eagle for Strike Fighters. Paco, as usual, has made an excellent addition to Strike Fighters! This machine is from the 90th Fighter Squadron, "Pair-O-Dice", based at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.
In addition to being an excellent 3D modeller, Paco is also a first rate skinner. This machine is in the "European" camo scheme of the early Mudhens. I took this screenshot over water as this bird is IMPOSSIBLE to see when flying over the EAW Autumn Terrain!
This machine features 9/11 nose art, in this case "Packin Heat", of the 335th Fighter Squadron, "Chiefs", based at Seymour-Johnson AFB, North Carolina.
This machine also features 9/11 nose art, in this case "Uncle Sam", of the 391st Fighter Squadron, "Bold Tigers", based at Mountain-Home AFB, Idaho.
This machine represents the F-15I, known as the RA'AM, or Thunder, in Israel. The Thunder flies with 69 Squadron, "Hammer Squadron", based at Hatzerim AFB.
The F-15E/I also comes with LANTIRN pods, although there just for show, SF doesn't model target designation, just yet
So you see how Strike Fighters can take you from the 40's to the present day.
Thanks to the genius of TK and the dedication of Paco, Russo, and Pasko!
Cheers
