Hello,

This the perfect path....for your standard install.
So it's a runtime problem....
When you have installed OAWunified....
Have you D/L the file in the "D" and proceeded..or you proceed from the "C" HDD???
If not..try to proceed the install OAWunified processus from "C"....
Seem's OAW not find the runtimes....

Military regards.

HI Again!

I loaded OAW from my desktop, on C drive. I already have VB6 files loaded as I needed them for Gurney's 3dz Studio, airfield editor and normals calculator, programs, which I got from Mr. Jelly's site and while back.

Still getting runtime error 76 "path not found"

Hello,

I suppose ..when you launch OAWunified you mahe this from the created icon make by the installer???
Anyways it's bizzare....
I must have more input of others for have a beginning of solution....
It will be good to have other complain for a EAW installed in a other place of the "C" HDD...
But I still sure it's a runtime issue.
"I have allready the runtime for Gurney proggy"...
OAWunified installer anyways install the runtimes needed for OAW in silent mode..so they are installed...but in the "C" drive....

Military regards.

Hello,

A other solution for be sure is...
Erase what is in the "Lastoawdirectory" file..save and relaunch OAW...
You will be facing with the choice window for indicate the paths of EAW and OAW...
Procced and see what happend.
If error more ..it's the runtimes...
Be sure also have no "read only attributes" in your EAW-OAW install!!!
You have just to D/L the OAWrtinstall.exe from Mr Jelly page...and install them.Proceed from "C" and let install where they want....

Military regards.

Took the lazy way out and copied a pre-existing EAW/OAW install to another partition and reset it all to 1.2...\\\\\\then removed the OAW directory and last oaw dir ,,and pointed the installer to the new folder as the README says and fire it up no problems,,For those who don't choose the standard new install instructions these steps worked well for me and it's running great.

Bummer, I'm not going to be able to DL a 45mb file (and that's the 'small' one!) with my dialup comms.
Pity, because I'd be a good test candidate, I have xp on my G drive, and my EAW/OAW on my F drive, Win98 is on my C drive.

How big is the final product likely to be?

Hello DeanH,

Sorry for that...but the OAWunified team is not related at all with the kind of connection you have actually.....We made this install the little as possible but with the minimum necessary for have nice differents possibilities...
BTW..it's seem's not 46MB is big for a 56K modem...it's possible to D/L..it's just a question of time...I suppose you have a D/L speed between 4-10 K0/S.....so it's easy to you to know the time......
Poor Oleg...he must have many complains from the 56k modem owners when he release a "patch" for the game PF or others...
How the size of the futur releases???
I dunno..it is possible to be big big when you know all pratically is integrable in OAW.
But it will be also possible to plan "small patches" specifically related to OAWunified like "Skinaddon"..."missionsaddon" ...etc and they will be automatically implemented in the OAWunifiedsmall.....

BTW..for Watson and others...
Oki with your procedure but I still suggest a new install with OAWunified for play online?..and so..be sure to not have any incompatibilities interferences.

Military regards.
