Yeah, MIT Kerberos realms are fairly rare. Most use a 3rd party Kerberos lib (or in the case of Windows, it uses Microsoft's own).
Plus, MIT Kerb is too damn insecure! :p Nearly every day, something new comes across Bugtraq for it...
