I did a search on this here at SimHQ but nothing seemed to relate to it. I have noticed that occasionally my PC will lock-up when I am changing a keyboard/joystick setting (FB/AEP/PF current patches applied). It does not happen all the time so it is not critical, but I am just curious if anyone else has experienced the same sort of thing, or if anyone has any idea what causes it. Hitting the reboot key becomes an annoying necessity. My PC is not normally prone to lock-ups of this sort.

Sometimes happens here. Hit the windows key to minimise the game then click on the game icon in the task bar to maximise the game. This usually works for me.

when you are in the controls section it locks up?or when you go from game..pause..controls?could see if maybe in game it may happen randomly ,i get the odd lock up when taking a screenie ,zooming around at 8x speed and changing views but can always alt tab or windows key out ,never have to reboot.Lock ups are few and far between,never had one when in control settings.memory?

Instead of hitting the reset button, are you at least able to minimize the game or go to the task manager and do an end task on the game? I've never had these lockups happen to me.

What are your system details (clue is in the word) including operating system and D3D or OpenGL running? and question two are you overclocking anything
