Does the mission builder contain working costal guns?

If not is it possible to get artillery or armour to fire on ships close to shore?

Also any hint if ground troops will be included in any future upgrades?

Thanks in advance.

You can even use Objects(not static objects) 146 to 156 for effect.
Unfortunately, artillery units placed inside, will not fire. There are two exceptions.
Object 148 and 153.
Place the flak cannons in the the periphery of those objects so the flak is partially inside the object and they get active. Place them in the center and they never wake up \:\(
My testing was done inside the mission builder using the "play" command.

I found the same problem. I sent Oleg a message and asked if we could just have ONE coastal gun. Only thing that works any good is the Panzerwerfer but it only is good at short distances. Even the big tigers suck for this.

Thanks for the help
One costal gun would be great, follwoing your instructions I have managed to get the following to fire at ships and barrage balons out at sea.

Panzerwerfor 42
152mm Howitzer
Wirbelwind
88mm flak fires when placed on top of object 148!

Landing craft would also be nice!

I've done similar testing and found the same (disappointing) results. A new "artillery" object would be nice but even being able to place a howitzer in one of the concrete bunkers and actually have it fire would be good too. Oleg...?

I have not been able to get 20mm AAA, 25mm AAA, 85mm AAA, and 88mm AAA to fire when placed in object 148 as found on the Normandy maps (Pointe-du-Hoc). Wirbelwind and Maultier AAA placed in the same object fire just fine.

How did you get the towed AAA to work in that object??

Just placed the 88m right on top with some ships and barrage ballon out at sea they all fire but what at?

Here is a mini dday landing that I have been able to make so far but it kills my system.
Mission

No real mission just experimenting fly in a 190d and enjoy the explosions! Take apart expand or delete.

Place the flak at the higher level surounding the pit of object 148. The gun will be partially embedded in the concrete, but it looks like it is bolted in the concrete in an almost convincing way.
Play around moving the gun to find the best location around the pit.

No, sorry rescon. The Flak 88s placed in object 148 are not firing in your mission.
