First: Werra..shame on you for violating trust of a developer.
That is so wrong.
Many do not know but there has 'never' been an NDA between Oleg and myself and I know more about his work than any beta tester. It's a matter of honesty and anything I have ever posted was approved by Oleg. Without honesty and trust what is left ?

Regarding CFS3;
Sure there will be things not as good as IL2 and there is sure to be things in CFS3 that IL2 dosn't offer.

In the end the good thing is MS allows amateur developers to hone their skills in making game add ons.
They even provide for free download the software needed to creat these add ons.
Thats a very generous offering no matter how you look at it.

This has been an excellent feature but just the same a bad point due to no means to control what is put into the game ie UFO type flight and indestructable aircraft.

This is where The CFS team needs to focus and not just throw the game out to the public and abandon it !
They 'MUST' stand alongside these CFS talents if they expect to get anywhere. Thats just how it is.

There are many who started out with no formal training in making models and have now become as qualified as anyone else to make expert quality add ons.
This is good for the game industry as sometimes no matter how much formal training one has, real talent is from those more determined or dedicated to what they enjoy.

Air Budha, Bear, Martin Wright, Bruno Duffort, Patrick Diedler, Steve McClelland, Ralph Treible (x-mat) are just to name a few who really should be in the spotlight.
These people have gone far beyond what I rate as amateur.
I know some of these are now working on commercial projects.

There are many who started out making add ons for the cfs series who deserve to see their work published and I strongly believe that with a good code writter and game engine artist there could be good chance these artists could create a top rated game.

These same artists are the ones who fixed many problems in the CFS series but without source code have been greatly limited in what they can do.

The CFS team would do good by following Olegs path in consulting those who can make a great difference in the features and quality of their work.

Even if CFS3 is not a really good game it is still a vehicle to developing talent. That is a good thing.
I know many other flight sim fans can't appreciate the value of this as they are gamers and not aspiring developers so you can expect they will be inclined to say it the way they see it.
They just don't find what they are looking for in the game and improving it is not in their own interest... they just want to play.
That is not a bad thing but you can't expect them to value the game as much as.

I am very far from being pro cfs but am not anti cfs either.
I just say it how I see it to be and honestly,
these screenshots do not do justice for the quality of the game.
I just know better.

Will I buy CFS3 ?
You betcha because I will be able to add Russia into it and finally the Night Witches will have their place they deserve and I will be able to have my team in games as they should be with the flyable PO-2 and tailgunners and searchlights and night bombing missions.
All these things I can make myself as I have done in previous CFS series.

Of coarse if the game is abandoned as allways in the past it will be overcome with a gazillion cheats to make it a crap game and I again will not enjoy playing it.

There are some things that just should not be changable in config files.

I laugh at you when they come in the vans...

Your quite the git arn't you?

You have the wit of a small cabbage and the charisma of a large piece of cow turd.

You use a computer rather less well then another one would.

And you smell of hamster droppings.

You my freind are a cad of the highest order.

Go forth now and wait until puberty arrives and then perhaps you shall mature, until that time I advise you to stay indoors, without a computer or any other means to contact the outside world, and talk to know one, as they maybe tempted to hit you or severly maime you in some unmentionable way.

Good bye, and I wish upon all things that I never set eyes upon you again.

Hmm, he must have turned all the graphics settings down to minimum too. I've never seen the aircraft graphics in FS2002 look as bad as that.
