What are the differences between ROTJ1 and ROTJ2?

Alrighty then.

I just played a cpl rounds of mp and sp with ROTJ2. I didnt expierence the slow downs I did with previous version nor did I once ctd. There is one thing I noticed....it may be that you did it intentiuonally I dont know. The chat box for mp didnt show up. The Speech Selection boxes did, the text did, but the actual box did not. This isnt really a prob and is actually a blessing. Removing the chat box increases fps.

My testing was done with ONLY ROTJ2 installed. No other add-on were used. Results may vary.

hi VonHelton,
I've been trying to get the propeller to show. It's checked on in the graphics options, but still won't show untill landed. I've reinstalled & still have the missing prop on all planes. lol_did I miss the prop file?

No, I think what happened is I somehow corrupted the PAB file.

This won't hurt the game at all. I'll try & get a new one up, or change the planes from PAB to BMP.

ROTJ II is not meant for MMP, but some have told me it *DOES* work.

Try & see is the best I can say.

Thanks for ROTJII! I used to set texture memory size to 2 meg when using the PL spring tiles and a Voodoo card. Is this workaround available or does it work with editing the Glidos OpenGlide.ini file? I tried the spring tiles and got the large blackened tiles as soon as bombs dropped. Does the FSAA work with Glidos on a GF4? Thanks in advanc.

To be honest, that is a question for Snover & G-man at GliDos.......I imagine there are tweaks available.

Nope!

ROTJ II is self-contained! All you need is a terrain module, but that is optional.

I thought I had posted an installation thread, but maybe not?

Installation is EASY! Just unzip all 6 zips to your SIMPATCH FOLDER.

That's it!
