Folks, without ANY advance warning, my server host decided to pull the plug on Wings of Honor early this morning. I assume it's a bandwidth-related issue, however, they haven't even graced me with an explanation. Their hosting policies for the package I purchased state no limit on bandwidth (even though most "unlimited bandwidth site will actually indicate a bandwidth limit in the fine print).
I will deal with them, however, no matter what happens, I'm changing hosts. This, of course, may take a few days, and the site may not be back up until Friday.

What upsets me the most is that without any warning or grace period, I wasn't even able to let visitors know what's happening.

All I can ask for is your patience and understanding, while I take some vacation time from work to get the site back up as quickly as possible.

If I could ask but one favor from any of you that enjoy Wings of Honor, please let as many people as you can know what's happening for me.

Glad it's sorted out

Actually it looks like Wings of honor will be up and down, Jupes is going to switch Internet Providers, so WOH will be up and down for a few days until the switch is made.

I posted about the changing of hosts in the simhq SDOE forum also. I bet hosting services make more money off of RB3D than any other game. What do you think?

I still get an access denied error. DNS reports 216.97.126.193 as the IP.

Seems to be a lot of trouble for him over there, I hope it will be solved for good soon.
