It's been quite a while since I have flown OIF after being into all the old MAC Hornet series sims. Maybe someone reading this thread can help out. I am looking for a site with any modification files and expecially a site with the OIF Key Command pdf file. So far I have not been able to find it including the Graphsim site and Xicat.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction? \:D

Speedbrake (the legendary HK custom mission maker?), I've never seen an OIF Key Command PDF. I reckon that's because the key commands are printed in the cover of the CD jewel case.

If you'd like, I can type them out for you, no problem.

As far as add-ons, Pretzel's stuff is still what you want...
(Well, crap! I went to provide a link to his site but I believe the Pretzel Works site is now gone. Now I'm sad. \:\( )

Give me a moment and I'll create and host a self-extracting executable with Pretzel's HK add-on files (works for PSF and OIF). It's a simple overwriting of existing files.

Here's some screens of Pretzel's enhanced clouds in PSF...

Looks good in OIF as well.

You'll also want the one and only OIF patch...
http://graphsim.com/support.html
(click F/A-18 OIF, it'll be a download at the top).

Xicat had nothing to do with OIF (only PSF) so you won't find anything there related to OIF.

I never warmed up to OIF (still consider PSF to be my all-time favorite flight sim), especially OIF's so-called "fully 3D cockpit". I like PSF's 2D/3D pit MUCH better (old-school but it works really well, IMO).

Now that I have my first HOTAS (Saitek X52), maybe I'll give OIF another shot. Maybe with the X52's programming abilities, I can work around some of OIF's cockpit limitations (i.e. cockpit zoom factor not saved).

I'm really into TAW lately but I've been yearning to get back to a little Carrier Ops and mission playback watching. I think I'm going to put PSF and possibly OIF back on my HD alongside TAW.

Anyway, I'll get those files ready for you in just a moment...

Ok, here's Pretzel's add-on files...
http://www.lt-solutions.com/images/OIF_Add-on.exe

Run to extract files.

Copy "FA-18 Op Iraqi Freedom.dat" into your OIF folder.

Copy the 14 TGA files into your Textures folder.

These should all overwrite exiting files.

Again, tell me if you need the key-ins (already have them typed out for PSF, just needs a little modification for OIF).

Thanks very much for your time and trouble Mark. Just finished downloading your file.

I still have all the old Mac Hornet Korea stuff so I'm sure I must also have the keycommnads somewhere. I also have the PC version of Hornet Korea (I never did buy PSF because it was the same sim according to the forums at the time). I just need to sort out my software stack in my desk drawer.

As for the mission builder ( ) stuff, I did win my first 3Dfx 4 MB video card in the contest but there were a lot of good entries! I made five missions for Janes F/A-18 that I think I did a much better job at. \:D

Thanks again.

Mark I could really use those key commands since you already have them typed. I bought the 10 dollar copy, nuttin on the jewel case.

Thanks Jerry

Oops, I missed this one (been gone awhile). If you have the jewel case are the key-ins not printed on the inside of the cover?

In any case, I'll post them tonight and sorry for the delay.

Edit: Duh, you already said there was nothing on the case. They messed up or something.
