Softball has posted in a few threads that our squad plays weekends. If weekends don't work for you please post here a different day that would.

Also, ICQ is a great application for meeting online. We usually meet here first and then set up coms and IP via the server. My ICQ # 109490070 (shows Viper )

If your new to MP and want to give it a try please come and join us. You don't need to join our squad just to play. If you like it and want to continue then you can join.

If we stick to the COOP campaign missions than addons won't be an issue but they sure add to the game

Post here and give it a try, if you don't like it atleast you tried it

56K will work, you might notice some lag but it shouldn't be too bad. Most of us are cable

1.85 it is, also use Dynamic Sound addon

After a few more days practice, I should be ready for prime time

I lose my exhaust smoke in 1.85...is this normal?

I am curious about the dynamic sound pack. Does this improve on the already excellent stock sounds?

Where can this be found?

Check the visual setting for the exhaust.

As far as the Dynamic Sound, it's so much better in my opinion. You hear bullets wizzing by. It's totally awesome.

What you want to do is make a "backup" folder and place your sound.pbo and config from your bin folder in the new folder incase your not happy.

Then download the new sound file, place the PBO in your res/addon folder and the config file in your bin folder. You will love the difference

TG, he'll need to download the 1.75 complete first and then apply that 1.85 config.bin

Yeah, I think I'd really like to join in this weekend, as long as my schedule cooperates.

I am interested. What comms program do you use and what add-ons do I need? I am running 1.85 stock right now (with Dynamic Sound).

I sure wish there were more hours in the day so I could devote more time to MP gaming. I did take the next couple days off work, so I can get situated.

That is a great mission. VERY difficult.

It was really a trip when that little bird one time suddenly flipped over as soon as the first person disembarked from it. It slowly wound down and I jumped in (upside down!) and tried to get her righted. No joy. She started making funny sounds, so I jumped out, amazingly didn't get my feet chopped off, and carried on in the mission.

The dirt bike is really neat too. You can come flying off mountains with that thing, getting pretty good air sometimes.

Man, my wife said I was gaining too much weight This game is way too realistic

Just FYI.

The server, that the 13th MEU ADDON files are linked to, crashed last night (11/13/02). We are working on a quick solution for this and during the down time are updating the addons as well. I am hoping to get the files linked up by tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Thanks for your patience.

Sometimes the relaxed vehicle realism can make for some funny incidents! I remember a UAZ going suborbital one time from a large number of satchels.
