I think the hosts.txt item PV mentioned here; http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/Forum57/HTML/001123.html is a very handy thing indeed and you may want to add it above if it's not there already. " if you put a file named hosts.txt in your OFP directory with ip's of servers you play on, it will automatically check those servers for games when you enter the multiplayer portion of the game. no "remoting". "

Away back when B-17 2 was first released, i set my NVIDIA drivers on my GeForce 2MX with this setting.
It makes a world of difference to your games especialy OFP's 'washed out look.
Using NVIDIA drivers, right click on your desktop then go to /properties/settings tab/advanced/color correction tab.
Slide the Digital Vibrance tab to 'Low' or 'Medium' -as you see, it 'enrichens' your desktop wallpaper. It also does that to all your games!
Remember to tick the small box that says 'automaticaly apply these settings at startup' otherwise it will reset it's self.
Simple but affective.
Now put OFP on and the uniforms/sky/trees and terrain jumps out at you

-------------UPDATE---------------- With an update for most/all Nvidia Drivers GF2/3 (don't know if it works with a GF4?) Do as the thread says, then with newer drivers select the 'Twinview' tab and then 'Device Settings' at the bottom right. Click on it and you will see 'Color Correction' this is where you can set the digital vibrance slider from =Richer colours!
