The new site is up and functional, but we will need to take it down on Monday for about 24 hours so the host can transfer it from a UNIX server to a Windows server at my request.

Therefore, I won't be setting up the forums until next week, after the transfer is complete.

Okay, this is getting a little frustrating, because the new site should have been accessible by now but at this moment still isn't.

I am trying to get an explanation from the new site host as to why.

In the meantime:

I've decided to set up an additional site with another company. That address will be http://ww2fightersforums.net. This is the site the forums will be at. They will be seperate from the main site, but you will still be able to navigate to them through the menu of the main site. Or you will be able to just go there directly using the the above address.

The idea here, hopefully, is that even if one site is down, the other will still be available. In other words, the forums and the downloads should not both be inaccessible at the same time, as we experienced with our previous site host.

I'm still hoping to have everything set up and working again before the beginning of next week, but unfortunately I can't guarantee at this point that will happen.

DAGNABBIT! \:\( Bucc, I just wish there was something more to do to help. About all I'm good for at this point is to offer a little moral support and tell you to "Hang in there!" We all know you're trying to sort this all out, so don't get ulcers, or have a cardiac, or any other such stuff, over this.
I'm a patient man, who really likes the sim, the site, and the community, so I'm gonna wait this thing out - patiently.

I'm hangin also. Wait, wait. I think that should have been "I'm hangin in there too".

We are waiting patiently and as always, if there is anything any of us can do, just holler.

Bucc; I'm sure you know this already, but we all really appreciate you perseverence and effort. I know you'll get it sorted eventually.

Okay, finally!

I'm uploading right now. The main site should be available a bit later tonight, with holes that will gradually fill in.

I'm still not sure about the forum site yet, it may take a bit longer.

Thanks, guys.

Use this link: http://www.janesww2fighters.net

Bucc accidently put a "." at the end of his URL in the message above.

Look up two messages above your post. Bill Grant has given you the new address. The forums are not up yet, but the rest of the site seems to be working.

Bucc is getting it fixed as soon as he can, be patient.

Well, the good news is, the site's back up and going again. To stay. I just have a few little things to fix up and it'll be pretty much as good as new.

The bad news is, it's nearly impossible to get tech support from some of these hosts on the weekend, so I'm still sucking air on the forums at the moment. Hopefully, I'll have that all straight by Wednesday.

More good news: http://ww2fighters.net has returned (not the old forums, though, just the address).

So the site and all of its content will basically be available both via http://janesww2fighters.net and http://ww2fighters.net. They are hosted by two entirely seperate companies on entirely seperate servers, so one site or the other should be continuously available 24/7 between them.

Again, though, it may take me a few days to get everything at the old site address fully functional .
