Impressive work, Ramm.
Any progress on the transparancy issue? Looking forward to this one.

As a matter of fact, I just sorted this out 30 minutes ago. The nose cone and cockpit will feature the glass effect, so you'll be able to see the pilots. It won't be perfect though. I'll fill you in on the short-comings as I get closer to releasing her.

So I take it you got the rotation issue you were having resolved?

I haven't had a chance to dig up the Ki-48 file to send to you for comparison as I have been busy getting a forum set up for Ardennes 44.

That's good news, Ramm.

I wouldn't let the glass be a showstopper one way or the other. It's great if we get it, even if it's not 100% perfect in every conceivable situation.

But even without the glass, she's a beauty!

Thanks anyways BigDog, sometimes you just need to step away from the editor for a while and then it suddenly dawns on you!

I'll try to keep it as simple as possible, but unfortunately it's a little late. It will eat a lot more frames than the original, especially if the sky is full of these babies. The original face count was around 1200, it's now over 2500 and the model is mapped to several hi-rez (512x512) textures. The price you pay for suping things up I guess. Hopefully it won't be toooo bad.

Well, my personal theory is: push the envelope, find the edges, test the limits.

Ramm,

A very nice work! Will she be realsize or fighter-size[scale]?

Thanks guys.

Goodwood - She's the same size as the original, which may be a bit big (not sure), but it's never really bothered me while playing.
