Hi Piper,

Hey, you remember my name!

Well I don't know if you've heard, but Rage have gone bust and I was made redundant 2 weeks ago along with 150 others!

Not a nice experiance I can tell you.

Thankfully I've got a job as a games programmer at a well known software studio. Phew!

Don't think I'll be working on any flight sims for awhile though.

Have fun with Typhoon though

Cheers,

Steve

I had heard of Rage's demise... Glad to hear you landed on your feet though!

Take care, and do another flightSim someday!

Steve also glad you got a new job!
Thanks again for typhoon , i think lo-mac sounds ok but i think the sim any software company should be thinking of making should be called 4th Gen and feature the typhoon , gripen , rapheal but in a scenario where UK is being invaded by mainland europe to force us to adopt the Euro!!
Oh and why hasnt the falklands air war been simmed? Harriers vs a4s sound cool!

Anyway again thanks for hours of fun.

Mark

Hi Steve,
I wish you good luck for the future, even I don't like very much Typhoon, EF2000 was great and also F-22ADF (never played TAW).
It's a pitty that all ends this way, I'd like to see a new realistic Typhoon simulation or as Doomlord said a sim with Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen.

I really hope Steve Hunt will be doing more flight sims, EF2000 is IMO still the best flightsim ever made...

I dont think I have ever been as impressed with a computer game as I was first time I saw that EF2000 fly up a norwegian fjord.... The graphics was years ahead of anything else..

And the gameplay was second to none....

Sigh \:\)

Couldn't agree more Lars!

In fact, while waiting for lomac, I re-installed SEF2000 on my pc the other night. The graphics are dated (but still, very beleivable), but the gameplay is incredible!! BTW, it loads real fast on a 1.7GHz machine, versus the 20MHz machine I originally played it on!-)

Hi Piper,
does SEF2000 runs normal on your system? I've a Athlon XP 1800+ and if I play SEF2000 it runs as if I have activated the time accelerator \:\( So it's not really playable.

Hi WK! SEF2K runs fine on my system! You know, I tried loading this sim some time ago and remember the plane just rolling over (out of control) - ie., not playable. Try loading it again. See what happens. I do remember when I re-loaded (few days ago) before flying, I went into the options menu (key = `) and set up to my liking. Maybe it will help you, hope so!

Really, I'm getting into sef2k all over again - you know, "Olso", "pull up, pull up", "on the brake". Really cool. God, what a good sim...

Keep trying bud! Post again if you still need help. It's worth it.
