I wouldn't normally post to troll posts like this (unless they're funny - SAS, etc), but for your information, the reason I didn't respond is because it has been made perfectly clear many many times that Typhoon is a completely different type of *sim*, so comparing the two is just a waste of time.
Cheers, Manteau

Your original question asked how Typhoon compares to EF2000. The answer to that has been discussed in great detail in this forum.
If you don't want to do the looking yourself, then here's the short answer. It doesn't.
EF2000 is more like Falcon4...more avionics oriented. Typhoon has set aside much of that and concentrated on game play in the form of a dynamic campaign.
In EF2000, you can pretend to be a Eurofighter pilot. In Typhoon, you fly the Eurofighter and manage other pilots and forces to win a war. See the difference?
Landing are not easier in Typhoon. To land the jet correctly takes just as much effort as any other sim. Perhaps you mean Typhoon is more forgiving of pilot error in landing. That is probably so. A pilot may be able to prang one on in Typhoon whereas he could not in another sim. That does not mean Typhoon is 'easier'...it just means the pilot is a plumber.

The reason I didn't reply was due to the fact that this has been covered already, and I thought... "I bet the lazy git, aint gone and done a search yet" Anyway, I'm glad your enjoying EFT Lars... Any chance you could write an ACMI for EFT as well? ------------------ Hengist. Hengist's MiG Alley Site. http://www.hengist.co.uk/MiGAlley

Your good people Bimo, it's nice to see someone with a sense of humor around here. Funny. Andy, you oppressive tyrant . [This message has been edited by Silverswift (edited 05-16-2001).]
