With Bill Toti of my favorite podcast. He was there, it's why his voice sounds as it does.....

For me personally this is the first time in years that I have watched/listened to any sort of 9/11 documentary etc..... I'm siting here listening as I do some other work and it's bringing up some painful memories and feelings. That hollow, dull ache in the chest when you hear of some catastrophe that you're powerless to do anything about and that you know is a historical inflection point. I'm sure it's the same feeling people in the UK had when Chamberlain announced that the UK and Germany were at war, or when the news of Pearl Harbor was heard across America. I hope to never experience it first hand again.

Similar to me, I haven't watched any 9/11 documentary in years either, as it's just too intense, and I don't know what I would get out of it. Unless there is some kind of new information, I don't need to hear a bunch of information about what happened because I already know what happened and will never forget.

I do appreciate that shows continue to air, to keep new generations aware of what happened and not let it completely slip into obscurity.

I assume he might mention this but he didn't, he has had years of medical problems and surgeries related to smoke inhalation on that day including the raspiness of his voice. He sounds completely different in older video he speaks in.
