Now that I'm older and understand things more and I listen to this song and read the lyrics again, years later,

this is really a very sad and depressing song about a young lady with misplaced feelings and intentions



And this one, IMO, is about a man who will forever be alone if he doesn't change his ways and opens himself up to find his queen.

Are all the songs by this Eagles band sad and depressing?
