Indeed I have. There are a some exceptions but the new 499 and 963 stand alones and the ones bundled in the WSC 2023 mod have some problems. Still, they are being improved and are (IMO) superior to what had come out for AC..

Haven´t tried It. I have all the ones from rF2, and a couple from URD, and IIRC 1 or 2 from Advance Simulations, kind of to fill the grid. But the BOP Is all over the place so It´s not really a true grid. Hopefully that will all be solved when LMU comes out. Let´s hope they get It right!

Reviews on Steam are all over the place, and well I for one don´t take a lot of them Into account. Specially when It come to the battle of racing sims, or civil flight sims for that matter. So here´s a review from Dave that pretty much has a real perspective of LMU and what you can expect...

If you buy it and you have problems, I'll post this thread I put on reddit that helped me a ton. It has issues, yes. But there's promise there if the studio doesn't go tango uniform...
"I was on the verge of refunding it like many of you, but first try these things.
Steering jacked?
"Hey guys,duck2205 from the LMUWEC Discord here, just uploading my fix for more people to be able to enjoy the game from release. If your wheel is not turning how it should, specifically, not linearly, try this.
Go to your steam library, steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\player\direct input.jsonCTRL+F search for "Steering Sensitivity".Set Steering Sensitivity, Steering Aggression and Steering Rate Factor all to 1.Save the file and give it a go.
Make sure the game is closed whilst you do this!
Also, just to be safe, set both steering options in the game to use from vehicle/driver and set you Fanatec sensitivity, or whatever wheel you use, to auto!"
Stutters?
Rarely, users may experience very frequent stutters in gameplay. If you experience this please visit the root folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LeMansUltimate\UserData\player\settings.json and set "Record To Memory":true, (change from false to true)
You may also try enabling V-sync.
These things totally transformed it for me. It works decently now and it loads noticeably faster! (still not where it should be, but you don't have to go get a sandwich while you wait)"

Thanks @DaveP63...
I´ll be buying It next month, already spent my gaming money for this months (new heli for X-Plane 11). Meanwhile they just might fix somethings, seems to be a mixed bag for some.
Cheers

There's already been a hotfix that addressed some of the issues and there's a lot of "noise" right now because there's some boutique (and to be fair, regular) gear that isn't working properly. There's a couple of tracks that are resource pigs (if you have the store version of Daytona on RF2, you know what I mean). Also, there's the "No VR, No Buy" brigade that's nit picking everything to death. Some folks forget what early access means and they expect at least a beta release and we're still a ways from that, IMO. I don't know if MSG survives long enough to fix it but I trust 397 to finish it up if they can. There's some real potential there.

Yeah I already had some friction with one over at the forum, but their will always be people like this, I just put my Ignore glasses on. I think like wise, If S397 gets the bug fixes done fast enough, they might get passed stage three of rocket launch! Thanks for the update Dave, much appreciated

My pleasure. I'll be revisiting it from time to time to see what kind of progress they're making. In the meantime, I'll be back on my regularly scheduled programming of AMS2, ACC and RF2.
While I can´t spend to much time driving due to a arm Injury, the little time I have spent 3-5hrs. I have enjoyed every minute of It, I´ll say It looks and feels great and It´s very addictive! Only drove on Spa (my main track) with the Porsche and Ferrari GTE´s, and really didn´t mess with the FFB except bumping It up to 65% from default. So there Is a lot to explore yet. Only played race weekend, no online racing yet.
With that out of the way, on to the not so good stuff. For starters (pun Intended), the game would not start after Install! After some reading on the Steam group and LMU forum, I found out that for some you need to turn off you´re AV program. I tried the suggested fix by S397 which was to exclude LMU from you´re AV but that didn´t work with Kaspersky, so It was kill the AV before starting LMU. No rev lights on my Simagic FX wheel, and no support for the Simagic SimPro Manager 2 app yet, but other then that all my hardware was working as Intended.
Some UI pages are not well though of, while functional are very simple (scroll up and down) but that really doesn't effect the overall gameplay. I am sure that will get a workover later on the development, other then that I still need more time (gameplay) to explore and discover the good, and not so good of the EA of LMU.
Aside from the above, overall Impression Is very good and promising, and the price point Is spot on for what you get. IIRC they have put out three hotfixes since release (2 at least), let´s hope they keep the pace. Most die-hard YT CC are really enjoying It, which Is a good thing as they will upload LMU content regularly.
The force Is strong with this one!
Drive safe...
