Hi, does WOTR get along with AMD graphics cards, like the RX 6700 XT? Or better said, the Radeon drivers?
Thanks

We have not tested it with AMD/ATI but I assume it has similar issue as WOFF with town tiles, and some river tiles in that they show as dark/black for some.

I have a older i5 with a GTX 1060 (6gb VRAM), so I might consider using (buying it) It on that. My i7 PC has the mentioned RX 6700 XT, which also has all my flight hardware Installed, so It´s a bummer In that sense. The old i5 just has my old Saitek Cyborg Evo Installed which I use for BOB and older sims.

@OP, the general rule of thumb is that older AMD DLLs (drivers) work better with WoFF/WoTR than newer ones - flexibility regarding the generation of DLLs you can install depends largely on the generation of AMD video card(s) that you, of course, have installed. On that note, recommended is to check over this post located under the WoFF AMD video thread, for good generations of AMD drivers to experiment with. Also worth checking over is this post that outlines my recent, dual-CPU X79 build, and that contains lots of AMD video-related information regarding WoFF. (For the record, I run WoTR on my 2013 Mac Pro with dual AMD FireProD700s and the Pro generation 17.x.x. AMD DLLs.) Cheers,

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile ( https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

I have had Issues with my recent AMD card with regards to driver compatibility with another sim I use a lot (rFactor 2). In that case I had to roll back to earlier driver versions If I wanted to play rF2, which brought me to find out that some games are not fully compatible with recent Radeon drivers. Fortunately the rFactor 2 team (Studio 397) fixed their Issue with AMD drivers and now I can play with no worries, at least for now. I would suggest that the team look Into the below links (If they haven't already) In order to find a solution, Studio 397 used this and were able to get It sorted out. It will benefit everyone as some of us don´t want to roll back to a year old driver, and/or have to limit the GPU performance due to older drivers, or have to tweak something that should work out of the box. Win win for all... Radeon GPU Detective: Radeon GPU Detective News (source Info) Radeon Download: Radeon GPU Detective Home download site Hope It helps. I´ll wait awhile, and If not I can always use my older PC as I stated before. Again, thank you for you´re help and guidance, very kind of you! Safe flights! Red
