I have some oddities in how I like my food temps. For instance I prefer baked beans cold over hot. I prefer fruits cold out of the refridgerator; absolutely the case with bananas. I actually like cold spaghetti, and like it with a good bit of cracked black pepper where I don’t like pepper on my hot spaghetti. I am happy with cold chicken and noodle soup. Cold pizza is ok by me.

I’m sure I have more like those.

Anybody else ?

I would say that I am just about 180 degrees from you. I like fruits like watermelon, apples or oranges from the fridge, but I prefer bananas at room temperature, and those other foods hot. I know that a lot of people like cold pizza, and I could eat it if I had to, but given the opportunity to heat it up, especially in a toaster oven instead of a microwave, and I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Have you always liked those foods that way, or is that something that developed more recently?

This. I thought I liked cold pizza, but it turns out that microwaved pizza is awful. A toaster oven is the best way to eat left over pizza.

Or an air fryer. Pizza comes out great in those. And I agree about pizza not heating well in a mircowave oven unless it happens to be one of those frozen pizzas like from Stouffers.

I like most things I eat at room temperature up to very warm (definitely not hot).

Since I got my Air Fryer I try not to use the Microwave much at all, it kills any nutritional benefits the food has

Baked beans, gotta be warm at least. Same with spaghetti. Fruits, best cold. Fried chicken is great cold or hot. So.e soft drinks, like Mountain Dew, are pretty good warm. Cold pizza is OK but if there's a way to heat it available I always will. Oven is best.

Eagerly awaiting the next thread titled "Do you prefer mushy or firm peas?" wink

Civilized or not.

Our traditional meatballs served with potatoes, gravy and mushed peas used to be our "National meal".

Yummy. biggrin

How good are the Norwegian meatballs compared to the Swedish ones?

Oooh, sensitive stuff PanzerMeyer.

I`d say the norwegian beats the swedish hands down.

Swedish meatballs are so cheap they sell them in IKEA.

We value or traditions far more than that.

Say no more. thumbsup

LOL! I've had those IKEA meatballs and I think they're pretty good but what do I know? I'm just a lowly American. wink
