It has been about 4 years.kids.. But at one time i had this thing running comfortably. Right now i want to vom. I need help setting up my quest 2 with link cable.

Kinda poor so i cant upgrade

Trying to get smooth vr
I have heard about open xr.

In My oculus program under settings general my open xr runtime butron for "set oculus as active" is greyed out and i can not click it acrive.

I can not get steam vr to stop booting up when dcs runs vr.

Anyone know of a good guide or have advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have tried youtube sources with no luck resolving.

I did have an GTX 1080 and I can tell you that low performance GTX1070ti will make it easy on the graphical adjustments by shift all DCS settings to to disable or the lowest setting as a starting point.
For the Nvidia control panel (at the DCS specific adjustments): power to max an for the rests its application controlled or unchecked.
Do a free run and check what’s irritating you, in my case its the massive shimmer and jaggies, so fiddle with the aliasing settings in DCS, without losing to much FPS. Do not know how your VR headset is acting but using motion reprojection or lowering the FPScap from 90 to 60 could also do.
