I'd like to see the second expansion concentrate on ground units. For starters I want to see actual Arty aswell as Flak Guns in action. Arty batteries sometimes semi hidden would go hand in hand with the new observer mechanics.

I agree. The recon wars add-on was such an awesome start. I almost never used to play that part of the war, but it is much better with something to do. Improving that an making a valid and fun full war recce career would be quite a thing!
