It just might be better than the version they decided to release. The violin really adds a bit of sadness to the song.

Violin is just an amazing and very deep instrument.

Why they didnt use it is anyones guess?

That was superb! Really vibrant stereo effect on that as well. It felt like I was sitting amongst the band.

Speaking of violins, this local band do a mean version of Comfortably Numb with a Violin solo, and are usually an afternoon band at music festivals around here.
Strangely, the best rendition I could find was when they played in Canada to pub with about 3 people in it. Maybe WT was one of them?

Well yes, but SimHQ music fans are a discerning bunch, and while it's a competent cover band, I didn't think the first 6 minutes of that was worthy of their time.
...unless there are some who may think being able to show a whole 9 minutes in a Canadian pub without a fight breaking out is remarkable enough.

The violin solo was definitely the highlight.
