I'm fat with cake yeah. That'll cost me six strokes easily Good work Wigean, I think I'll kick this one off tonight and hopefully hang with you. What was your final total under par? Four eagles in one round eh? You have made a strong move in the eagle race.

I did -34. So another piece of cake for you today. I am still a little frustrated of all the near misses, but that`s also part of the fun with the game.

If you use my ghost it would be interesting to know what happened on hole 6? Looked like I hit the flag, and I thought it was an ace.
Looked like an ace to me too. One bounce and dropped on the hop. The camera angle is fairly far away to see exactly, but that's what it looked like. Maybe you got robbed of an ace, which sucks. I played the first two rounds and did OK. In the second round I parred the first two holes and then ran off 15 straight birdies. Started the third round and made one bogey and one birdie over the first six holes and decided to pack it up for the night and go again when I'm awake. No eagles at all through 42 holes so far.

I was probably unlucky not to get an ace there.
I had to drop the ball after that shot and there were no reason for that.
15 birdies in a row? That is darned good on that course.

Yeah that is rotten. Never saw anything like it. To go from -2 to +1 through no fault of your own is super frustrating and I feel for you. You deserved better after such an excellent golf shot. You hit a ton of great shots in this one.

Played the final two rounds, and nicked this one. Didn't play very well in the third round, two bogeys, including one par 4 when I hit the tee shot in the one place you can't, a pot-bunker on the right side of the landing area, and was so close to the front wall that I actually had to play backwards in to an adjacent fairway and ended up making bogey. Only a single shot separated us over the last two rounds and you went low in the final round, good golf. I made just one eagle whilst you drained seven! I think that draws us level in the eagle race

Good golf DBond! Congrats with the victory. I almost thought I had it this time, but you did it again. A confirmation that more eagles don`t mean a thing. Consistensy is the key. I must work harder on that.

Thanks. That second round was unreal and the difference in the match. Otherwise it was tight. Good luck in the next one.

I played Sawgrass last night and man if there was ever a tournament I'd like another shot at it is this one. Played pretty poorly. It's not a difficult course, although there is some trouble lurking. Putted like sh!t, made a few bogeys that should never have happened, like three-putting from 20 feet. Door is wide open for you this week Wigean. Good luck.
But not too much....

No worries DBond. When you are talking yourself down I know you will probably be unbeatable. Especially when this peculiar game puts you in situations like this. Haha. When you see the numbers you know you have on anyway. But I`m having fun.

Oooh, he's gonna have a tough time with that shot, Stu Nice lie there Wigean. What happened after that? Looks like me in the fairway pot bunker I was talking about last week. Had to turn around and play backwards in to an adjacent fairway. If you won, congrats man. if I did, you'll get 'em next week!

I still have one round left. You lead by miles. What happened? I let it rip and got 3 over par on that hole I think. I`m happy with that. On Steam I get the message when I open the game: "Think happy thoughts". I guess I am the laugh of the month now.

Just out of curiosity, did you check if a flop shot could have cleared that wall? You can play a flop, and pull the trajectory way up high, but it looks like you're too close even for that.

No, I didn`t. As it looked like the ball was inside the earth. When the ball stopped on the green it was lying on the edge of the green. Just in the transition to the wooden wall if you can imagine. Then when the picture changed I was suddenly down on the edge of the water and I could not see the ball, since it probably was lying 90 degrees vertical to where it stopped. What you see in the picture is what I saw in the game. Amyway, I went to the clubhouse bar and let my caddy, Murphy I believe it was, play round 4. No I didn`t really, but the last round was uninspiring.as the three first ones were poor. I will try to improve on the next one. Congrats on the victory. You play good golf DBond.

Hey thanks, honestly I thought I would lose this one. Thanks for playing and competing with me.
Surprised we've had no one join, or show interest. But maybe I shouldn't be!
And the three guys who were playing all quit at the same time. And they didn't just slow the roll, picking events here and there to join us whilst missing some others. They were all gone and that's that. Too bad as that was fun playing with those guys.
Even so,I enjoy doing this with you, so thanks for that.

No problem DBond. Even if I lose more than I win I enjoy playing the game. In this game it is hard to repeat the success, if I am lucky enough to win.
Would be fun to have more competitiors of course.

Is this DBond celebrating his victories over Wigean?

Played the first two rounds of this week's event.
This week we are at Merion, This is a classic, historic course not far from where I live and has hosted many US Opens, as recently as 2013.
There are decisions to be made off the tee, and you'll hit 3-wood or irons off some. I played well in the first round, very sharp with the shots going where I wanted. Second round was a little more shaky. Opened with 60-63.
Good luck!
Last I looked we were level in the eagle race on 20.

Finished the tournament at Merion East. Pretty cool course. Played fairly well over the weekend, closing with 62-59, but of course this is a par 70. One eagle, three bogeys. Good luck!
