The DM (Damage Model) is a combo of things added over time, and revised but the visual damage modelling is generally my stuff. WM added code over time to improve the available options.

"Look....I know I said stick to me like glue but........"
"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."
Been a long while since I've posted. Hope everyone is staying safe and well. Just wanted to share my latest batch of images from around the Front. I have to say, in the mist of all we are dealing with, WOFF is helping to keep me sane.
Flew along the fighting front during the Battle of Cambrai in Nov. 1917 during a ground attack study I was doing. Got some good shots of Mark IVs and a A7V attacking. The last two are the barrage at dusk from an SE5a and Marks IVs attacking at dusk.
And let's bump up this thread with a few screenies. Had a bit of free time to enjoy some quick combat variants, and WOFF always gives lovely surprises. The fellow in the Pfalz is doing well enough but ended up in a precarious spot.
Happy flying all, Von S

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile (https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~
A few random pics of my own. Started both a Spad and a Camel campaign. Totally have to re-learn how to fly with the Spad. More of a rudder / elevator balance than the crates I'm used to.
