What do these people do? If it's anything JG Ballard's take on gated communities, it's not going to end well. biggrin

Sorry, I don't have a hilarious video to share.

Even here in England, I was deluged with enticing offers and deals on Florida retirement homes when I reached retirement age (good grief) ten years ago. Can't imagine anything worse my judgment having been somewhat clouded by YT video viewing. If an armadillo hole doesn't cause one break your leg, shot iguanas falling on one's bonce will. Then there is the pythons and 'gators, and slightly miffed manatees of course. smile

And even then, FL has got nothing when compared to Australia. biggrin

He/She probably had their face stuffed into their smartphone at the time.

Just celebrating a facet of our quirky English history.
As was mentioned, my nearest City, Worcester, had such a street where the bawds and Stews plied their lewd and licentious trade. The name was changed when the Royalsits were defeated there in the final battle of our Civil Wars in September 1651. Along with all 'graven images' in churches and the Cathedral defaced or destroyed. Bad King John has his tomb in the crypt of Worcester Cathedral and Cromwell's troop knocked his nose off, an indignity suffered by many such tomb effigies, when they utilised the building, already 400 years old by that time as a stable.

As to other nearby names to snigger at; we have Minge Lane, (perhaps unknown in US colloquialism) Dog Butt Lane, and I live adjacent to Piddle Brook, aptly name as much sheep and cattle urine flows into it.

I had no clue what "minge" meant until I heard someone say that word on a TV series called "Turn". I looked it up online and was instantly embarrassed. biggrin
