Does anyone have a copy of 5.5.5??? I am really wanting that one specifically because of the easy radar mode. My 8 year old would enjoy it. I don't want to teach him radar.

I'm a bit late to respond here, but my response will be useful also for other readers, so here it goes:

FF 5.5.1 is the last version in which you can play with Easy Avionics with the exception of laser-guided bombs which is broken. All later versions, also FF 5.5.5, will enforce Realistic Avionics even if changed in the Setup menu.
Other than FF 5.5.1, if you want to play with Easy Avionics you could aslo play Red Viper or F4AF. F4AF will however not support widescreen resolutions for the 2D cockpits, only for the 3D clickable cockpits. RV will instead support widescreen.
