That was exciting Hellshade.
And a good lesson for me in that I think I tend to fly these birds very conservatively for fear of structural failure. Too much stick time in Albs and Nieuports.
Course the old Se (and Spad and Pfalz) are tough birds.

Jerbear, I'm loving these perspective shots!!

I got fired as the door man at a sperm bank.

Nice picture hoongadoonga. Not that I think I am "all that and a bag of chips" but it really makes screenshots look so much better if one crops the picture and gets rid of the "spot view" or any text in the screenshot. No offense intended, just a suggestion. Still love the shot though, and into my WOFF UE favorites collection it goes, and gets "cropped" by me. hahaha

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

I agree with you Blade_Meister, no text is much better. I just forgot to do it but (hopefully) will remember next time.

if you have a skinning program like Gimp you can also use a smudge tool to hide it a little if you need the area where the text is. If you look on some of my pictures you will see spots that have been smudged. The MG gunners in the ground shot above have some lighter colored areas where they are sitting. That is the yellow target view circle that I smudged. Anyone know how to take a target view screenshot that doesn't have the yellow circle on it?

Glad your enjoying the ground shots Ace Med. Sometimes I spend more time trying to get shots than I do flying, but its lots of fun.

Jerbear, I really like the photo of the balloon going up. The view from the infantry tents is a nice perspective and it seems that some of the tents have been hit by an attack.

If you are referring to the pair of yellow parentheses ( ) they can be turned off (within the game) with ctrl + shift + i. They will be turned back on each time you install an update/patch.

Did some new DVII Skins, based on info in Schmaling and Bock's recent book, "Royal Bavarian Jagdstaffel 23". EXCELLENT BOOK

First is Josef Muller's Hohenschwangau coat of arms

2nd is Paul Vogel's Turnip

Last - Lt Heinrich Seywald's DVII flying next to the WOFF von Schleich DVII [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

Wow... more Jasta23b! These are great. So, do you plan on making them available to the public?

The personal emblems are from a couple of pages in the book and are intended for personal use. I think otherwise would be perceived as copyright infringement. They aren't hard to make with Gimp2. Mostly just a cut and paste job with a little erasure.
