Oh my, nice screen shots gentlemen.

Modred, wonderful news that new campaigns continue, BRAVA!

P.S. if you are thinking about the East, let me know I've done a wee bit of research on the Red Airforce. They need some better models though.

Mr. Jelly, please put a 1.29 copy in my folder at the FTP. Thank you.

I am away in Lyon and heading to the Alps in half an hour, so I cannot upload the file to the Gen server.
However, you can download it from here:

I'm sorry, but at the moment I do not have much time because I have some commitments.
The next objective could be to realize a multiskin for the B24 ... biggrin

Merci mon amie..

Got it, enjoy Lyon.

Modred',

I understand time and the way it slips away. I never seem to have enough even though I am semiretired. I am working with Rotton50's B-24D as a side project while working on a few skins for Mogggy. I am "correcting" the models nose (tex.tpc) and putting the correct panel lines ect. and will have it finished by March.

If you would like a copy of this model send me a PM and I will send it to you

Just to clear things up because I've been accused of stealing other people's work, none of the models attributed to me are mine.

In some case I polish up older models by using more nodes to make edges rounder, some I convert to empty "F" models to improve their look or add new bits, like the B24J nose turret and some I use as the bases for different planes like converting the P-47 into the P-72 or the Hurricane into the MB152.

After 20 years of EAW, I think we all should not be there thinking this is mine and this is yours ... rather center the goal of improving the game for the good of all.
I too have modified other aircraft and as far as I am concerned, all the changes I have made are free for everyone.
Thanks to all the modders for 20 years of beautiful changes yep

Ray,

Possession is 9 tenths of the law...

It came from your Med Set without a readme so, as last known owner... yep

stirthepot

I just wanted to say where I got the model Ray, you know me, heaven is in the details...

Modred, you would not want Michelangelo's 'David' attributed to Mario Brava. We give away our work but, do desire for credit for the effort. I put a readme.txt in my stuff that gives the provenance of each base model.

From my B17F 100th Bomb Group multi-skin set....

"Read.Me

Credits. Big thanks go to -
Col. Gibbon for the original HR-B-17 3dz, and for some of it's textures.
+mia for the use of some textures, and the BUMP I needed to finish this.
Mosi for another timely BUMP,
Illu for the radio wire idea,
Charles, Andy + Pobs for the transparent shadow idea.
Sandbagger (in advance!) for hosting the skin.
RAF Dumoulin for putting me onto the book named below.
Mr Johnson for discovering how to fix the HR engine shutdown issues.
3dz mods, skin, and base model readme John "Chompy" Masters

100th Bomb Group skins "Iron Mike" P January, 2010

"The Bloody Hundredth"

May 1943 - October, 1944
B17F and B17G"

We have an unspoken rule here that you give credit to those who's work you are using, modding and/or improving to create a bit for EAW. Recognition is the price we ask for use of our stuff, nothing more.

If you look at my old Talley-ho page I did give credit to original producers.

I stopped using Talley-ho a long time ago and started using aircraft packages tailored to the 1.6 line. The method Jel and I worked out was for me to assemble the packages and upload them to the GEN's server. He then assembles the packages and issues them with whenever the next exec gets issued.

The point is, there is no mechanism to include credits for individual aircraft.

The only reason I brought it up is that there have been scurrilous accusations made about it and I wanted to nip them in the bud.

I'm not going to expand on the details and I'm not going to make any further comments.

Modred, great work.! Thank you for your effort.

OK one and all ! bottles

Thanks Ray, Frenchie looks great!

And, I haven't sent anything to Tally-Ho in a bit, BUT, I am thankful that it still exists. I look at it 3-4 times a week. And, I still have skins that I haven't published.

Very nice work Modred..Benn flying it for a few days,,One thing I found in the 109 G-6 L4 and the regular 109 G-6 when I look to the sides in the cockpit there's a red diagonal line upper right to lower left ,,In the L-6 it's a bit heavier than the other 109 Tried D3D and Glide same thing all the other planes are fine,,Not a game breaker but it's there..Thanks for any replies

Russ, these red lines are present in the G6's of other planesets, though not always so prominently, so I'd assume they're intentional.

Might be dive angle lines put there on purpose.

BTW, in 1.6 the offset cockpits for those early 109's have been corrected so that the prop is back in the center view.
