I'm going to be trying out a Pfalz D.IIIa career with Jasta 20. I'll have a mediocre airplane as part of a terrible squadron... where I'll mostly be facing up against aircraft better than mine. after a fiery Sopwith Pup career (both literally and figuratively) I think it might be interesting to play a pilot with the opposite approach (be very, VERY careful. avoid fights if you can help it)
the aircraft skin shown here is based on the excellent work of the OBD team.
I liked the balance of terrain, buildings, and the locomotive with the aircraft in this snapshot.
great timing on that shot there Sailor_Steve. I've tried many times to get those artillery flashes and can't quite get them.
My secret? Be lucky.
Seriously, though, I just kept hitting that 'K' button over and over as fast as I could. Afterward I had twenty or so pictures to sort through, and one of them came out right. The rest went in the trash.
Some people are born stupid. I've had to work hard my whole life to get this way. I'm proud of the job I've done
TODAY OUR RAIL FACILITIES NEAR LENS WERE SUBJECTED TO A DEVASTATING ATTACK BY BRITISH AIRCRAFT! BELOW ARE A NUMBER OF VIEWS OF THE DESTRUCTION. THE ATTACKING AIRCRAFT WERE SAID TO BE BRISTOL FIGHTERS.
Time to freshen up this thread with new screenies gents' - was recently enjoying some QC missions in the two-gun Tripehound and then did some engine on and off stunting. A beautiful and "painterly" simulator on max. settings I have to admit, very impressive. Those interested in Bootcamping Windows and running WOFFue on a Mac are advised to check over the relevant post under the stickies section for WOFFue, for detailed directions.
Happy flying, Von S

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile (https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~
So I am dog fighting in a campaign (using the new test patch) and my engine conks out right after I (incorrectly) presume the fight is over. It's not. What happens next is precisely why I still fly WOFF UE after all these years.
Good stuff... you will have to forgive my ignorance here, but as the MG is linked to the synchronization gear, would it be affected after the engine had stopped?

I presume only if the blade were in the way of the gun when it stopped but someone wiser than I would know better.
