Yes, it looks like masking out the airplane and applying a blur tool to the background in post process. Reshade has some effects that can do that live in-game, but it requires z sorting information that our old game engine simply does not provide in the proper format to be used.

Yes, that's what it seems like to me. Wasn't there, at some point, a thread that was created as a place for that sort of 'artistic embellishment'? I'm being lazy, but didn't see it right off.

To me, it would seem a bit misleading if someone wound up with the impression the sim can do that "out of the box".

There was a WOFF UE Art thread and it had some amazing stuff in it. Part of why I am so excited about the possibility of DX11 for WOTR. IF AnKor succeeds and IF it gets somehow brought back into WOFF UE, It's possible there could be some nice visual upgrades beyond just the performance. That's a lot of IFs though, so I'm hoping for it but not counting on it.

Yes, I did all of them. I was only going to do around 10 but there are so many airplane types and soooo many beautiful skins.

I don't know what an enb is so I guess the answer is no. These are regular screenshots with layered gaussian blur and adjusted brightness and contrast in Gimp.

Sorry about that. I completely forgot about the WOFF Art Thread. Is there a way to move them there?

No worries smile I'm sure a moderator can move it. Maybe get in touch with one of them?

A few screenshots from this evening's mission. The "Blue Triangle Mod" is making a world of difference in my FPS and game performance. Can crank the AA up to 8X - and man is it pretty!

Hellshade,
I bought the TrackIr and managed to set it up. It works fine, as long as I avoid hitting F6.
But I’m getting disoriented. How long did it take you to get accustomed to not using padlock? Thirty years worth of flight sims of habits are hard to break.
Thanks,
Nowi

Unmap Padlock view (if that's possible) then load a Quick Mission Free Flight (No enemies) and just fly and look without worrying about being shot at. You'll get used to it faster that way,

Adger, beautiful shots!

Jerbear, you'll never get that balloon flying like that (unless you have spikes on your wheel hubs)

So I'm returning home in my Alb DI and I get a Sopwith Pup on my tail. No worries, he's far enough back and it appears that I can out run him. A few minutes later, a flight of noops high above spots me and one of them comes down to have a look, also dropping in tow behind me.

Once I get well into my territory over some small town, I decide the Pup is far enough back that I can turn to face him (and the Noop) in time to greet him with a head on pass and hopefully do some damage, which I manage to do. The plan was to get enough damage on the Pup that he gets knocked out of the fight and then it's just me and the French plane. Despite being called by the girlfriend for dinner mid fight (you can see the short pause) I managed to knock the Pup out of the fight. To my surprise, the Frenchmen dropped low (despite not taking a single hit) and tried to run back to home. Bad move for him. Really, really love this sim. I looked around but never saw where the pup went after he dropped out of view. I have no idea if he was able to slink back home at tree top level and I missed him or if he crashed.
