I have finally bitten the bullet and bought WOFF UE in OBD's generous and extended sale. This may have been mentioned before but, as I have little free time and am basically lazy, does anyone have some user-made Quick Scenarios they have made that they might be willing to share? They would save me the trouble of creating my own (I said I was lazy) and would also provide a certain degree of unpredictability. Thanks in advance.

somebody's going to beam in here....but in addition to the quick scenarios included w/ the game, someone wrote a few that were monstrously difficult...I'm chagrined to say I forget who or where after the UE install. But, making your own quick scenarios is dead simple....quick combat/pick your poison...as many bad chaps/wing men/expertise/altitude....whatever...play it and if it floats your boat click the "Save as Scenario" button...and you can revisit the horror as many times as you wish. Just make sure you click the button that doesn't kill your current pilot in "quick" combats.

This doesn't answer your question, just a "why it is" comment ...

I don't see a lot of quick scenarios around, and I think the reason is that the campaign mode is so darn good in WOFF. Quick scenarios get boring quickly because they are scripted ... same every time you play one. The campaign flights are random and unique so more fun. Also, most of us have a bug to relive the career part of WW1 flying (staying alive, getting promoted, that stuff), so again, campaign gets most of the attention.

That said, hopefully a few guys can help you out with some new QS missions. I might be surprised!

Thanks for the suggestions. It was just a thought, because I lack time. Then again, that doesn't preclude a campaign attempt. I can always leave it and go back to it.

I agree with 77_Scout. You're much better off with campaign missions.

You can always select "air start" to skip the takeoff and climb to altitude portion of the mission.

To help with the limited time, consider the following:

Choose "Always Closest Target" in Workshop
Choose "Air start" when launching the Mission
Use 2x - 4x time compression when not over the front - but keep a look out because the AI can still sneak up an attack you.

Of course each of these has trade offs for immersion but if you want to run the campaign those options could help with your time challenges.

Gaw1, I think you are thinking of OldHat. He has made a number of scenarios that SkyHigh would find interesting.

I could not find the scenarios that I had done a while back, so I've uploaded them here. Unzip into JSGME, then activate.

British Pilot Selections.

German Pilot Selections.

Hi OldHat,
I was wondering if you wanted me to upload this to the User Mods Page?
If so, what is it's compatibility with OFF/WOFF/WOFF UE, as there is no README in the zip (I can create one to be included),

Campaign has unique missions, so try that too. You can choose pretty much any squad and craft type.

Yes, it should be compatible with all WOFF versions. I don't know about OFF. Thanks. I'm not good at making readme instructions.
