Every day I check the home page for this site and it hasn't changed since last July 17th. It appeared to be a dead site but I see in the forums that there are recent posts. I'm not hardware challenged but am a little software challenged -- so did I miss something along the way?

P.S. I used to love the information I used to get on a daily basis on this site and I'd hate to see it go belly up!!!

However, you might not get any reply. Bottom line is someone has to update the main page. A guy called iLee was doing it, but perhaps real life overtook him? You haven't missed anything, main page updates aside. It's just that at the moment it doesn't appear anyone has stepped up to keep it current. I'm sure they'd consider your application if you're so inclined.
Personally I hadn't even noticed as I go straight to the forums. Any 'news' that would make the main page would show up in a thread anyway, and usually well before.

Wish I could but I've got a full plate as I’m a Legislative Liaison for a couple of dog clubs -- and the animal rights extremists from the HSUS and Peta keep people like me pretty busy.

I'd like to use Discord too. But Team Speak is great too. I'd love to talk about BFM with you guys someday. I want to learn more than what I already know and refesh my memory after reading Shaws Fighter Combat a long time ago. It was 20 years ago when I read that book. I'm back into WWII Flight Sims again and need to brush up on my BFM terminology.
I have not made it sticky. The administration chose to make thisa GLOBAL THREAD, i.e. it is sticky and visible in every area of this forum.

As of this writing, I do not see a way to de-select a global thread from a particular sub-forum. Since Teamspeak has widespread usage in the gaming / simulation community (Some folks like to talk to others, even outside of multiplayer games), it is reasonable for it to be global.
Any members who have no interest / need for Teamspeak, Discord, etc. are advised to simply ignore the thread.
Not at home to check, but we've been using it lately and if it did change, it was more than a year ago if that helps. I have it bookmarked in Team Speak and haven't altered it in ages. So if it's been a couple years since you were on perhaps it did indeed change.

It has come to our attention that you never received any notification regarding our upcoming IP migration in the US. During this and next week, we will be migrating Teamspeak 3 servers to new IPs and while the DNS name (dal-voice, etc) will stay the same, the port will change.
so yes, the change is legit, they just didnt tell us about it!
The new server address is dal-ts3.fragnet.net:10001 so you just connect to that, or if you use a bookmark, change the address in that to the new one. Password, channels etc etc are all unchanged.

The host is having hardware issues and moving everyone to new hardware over the next week or so, so theres going to be continued disruption.. as in presume it down. On the plus, were getting better hardware!

sorry for the delay, currently in the middle of a house move! Seems theres something wrong on the hosts end as i cant even access the control panel. Sent a support ticket so the balls in their court now, will report back!
